she sometimes sounds "presumptuous"

also, i don't like her "winking" at me

i just find being sweet on text weird.

Communicate. Communication is key in relationships. Tell her how you feel about the texting instead of telling a message board full of strangers who don't know you or her from Adam and Eve.

Also, you let your mom have too much influence on your life decisions. Think for yourself!

I already told her. Anyway, maybe I should say it again...

But it's really hard when you think you might just be incompatible in texting communications

As for my mum, I think she wants to keep the prominence of our family's name. My gf does not have a good background.
