Have any of yall ever unblocked anyone? (friend/past flame/ex) if so, why?

It takes me a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time to get to a point where I block someone I know. But once I do, it's permanent. And sometimes, I don't even have to "officially" block them. I can just decide "that's it, I'm outta here, I'm gone, they're never gonna hear from me again" and I'll take my leave and, same shit. Permanent!

He's a former meth addict and he became this psychotic person that I barely knew even after rehab. He was violent and picked fights with EVERYONE. I had to block him for my own mental health and my son's safety. We acted like we didn't know each other for about 5 years.
We made up in 2019 and I unblocked him, added him again on social media. He is still a psycho when he's drunk but no longer violent. He only picks fights with his wife these days. Things are never the same but we are civil.
Other than him, those I blocked stay blocked. When I burn those bridges there's no turning back.

Curiosity honestly from a young virgo woman. Turns out she is still a little toxic so Im in the process of breaking it off again. Well we not together but I still dont wanna get tied up in drama
I've unblocked and blocked Leos before but usually it's them blocking me first, then them coming back chasing and bugging, me being annoyed, and then blocking them.
Then they finally communicate and I unblock them.
It's a continuous cycle of no contact, block, chase, chat and unblock.

If I block its pretty final, so used fairly sparingly.
But I smash the mute button because they can't see that anything has changed and I don't need to have their ish up in my feed. Win win.

The only people I’ve ever blocked are people I’ve met on the internet who might show up on my Facebook suggestions lol. And the only one from real life I’ve blocked is this crazy girl who’s younger than me that would claim crazy stuff like people stealing my photos from Facebook or something. I unblocked her like a decade later cause I heard she got married so I assume she’s a tad more mentally stable now.
I'm not even on social media like that enough to block anyone. I use DXP and reddit. I'm totally aiming to be an influencer.
