I've read on many websites that Cancer+Virgo is a good match in that the water would feed the earth and the earth gives the stability water looks for.

But, really, how can this be a good match? Isn't cancer too emotional for virgo's taste? Wouldn't virgo find crab dramatic? And isn't virgo too cold for crab's taste? Wouldn't crab find virgo distant?

How is this match supposed to work even at the very beginning, let alone in the long run?

Hi FallingForVirgo,

I've read that Cancer + Virgo are a great match, even heard some great stories. I had some ups and down with a very troubled Virguy which I know is not the majority. From my observation, as well as my knowledge of self. Virgos (at least the men) are very insecure, and hard on themselves, we Cancers though moody and very emotional are very loyal and nurturing. My best example would be a mother comforting a child after it's fallen the confidence in the mother makes the child feel as though every think is A-OK. Thats kind of how Virguy men have to be handled, though time and trust with a Cancer helps, once they trust you and realize you are geninue they'll slowly open up.

Now granted I did find my Virgo to be very cold at times, but this I believe was due to the troubles he was currently experiencing, because they are hard on themselves any problem or issue they take to heart and think is a reflection of their own failure. As for the Virgo finding Cancer emotional DEFINITELY, but as I've read and seen Virgo enjoys the emotions as long as it's not related to stress/drama. If the Cancer turns the positive emotions into actions the Virgo is very happy, overall the Virgo wants confidence, security and loyality, Cancer wants love and stability.

As for how it should go, from my experience beginnings are rough until insecurites are reduced and trust has come into play.

Lastly I think age and financial status is HUGH in this duo. Virgos depend a lot on financial security and work, if these arent met it's going to be rough, thats one I can say for sure. I hope that helps...

Thanks for the reply allluv72.

Well, I really don't know how it's going to become a real relationship, this thing I have with VirGuy. He doesn't seem to be willing to open up. He doesn't seem to do anything actually! I am willing to work for it, but it takes two to tango, you know. I think the problem is he thinks he is doing some things to get closer, but seriously, if we move at his pace we'll be 60 by the time we start sharing anything. (And FYI: we're both 26) LOL!

So, I'm thinking maybe we're not for each other. Maybe crab and virgo are not for each other?

allluv72: How long has it been that you two are seeing each other?

Well, towards the middle of September was when we started exchanging glances. Then, end of October and beginning of November we shared some intimate moments together. Ever since then, we just have casual conversations at work. Twice I sent him an email saying that I was giving up on him, and that's exactly when he starts showing more interest. He always claims he's very busy. I'm sure he is, but hey, I'm busy too!

So, I guess, it's been almost 2 months that we are "seeing" each other.

Hi FallenForVirgo

My best advice and Dyr maybe able to give you better insight, if you like him stay busy and try to eliminate as much contact as you can. Being that you're only 26, even a man thats not a Virgo I think would be diffcult at this age. In my opinion, 26 is old enough to be more mature then when you're in your late teens or early twenties but you are still seeking and questioning a lot about life and yourself.

Stay busy and focused and let him do most if not all of the contact. Hope that helps.
