There is nothing you can do here for him. He just wants to control you. Leaving is your only option

I would like some advice as to how to better handle my man's jealousy and possessiveness. I'm a 23 year old bartender, he is a 29 year old restaurant owner. He's the smartest man I know. So charming, funny and once again, a sarcastic smartass. He won me over being himself, the mysterious guy that speaks only to his friends and doesnt look interested in anything or anyone else.
We met through common friends. We started off as friends for a good year and a half, until he finally asked me out on a "real" date, without any of our friends around. It was very awkward at first but within 15 mins we found ourselves having the craziest conversations about my work, and how hard it is to maintain any type of relationship. Any guy that I meet would juge me for what I do. He understood. Told me he'd actually be the type of guy to be happy and proud to see his girlfriend so financially independant at such a young age.
Months pass by and we're having the time of our lives. Until he started coming more and more often to my shifts. Then get mad about any guy that "flirts" with me. We would get into big fights, he would apologize, but the same thing would happen 2 weeks later.
Now, it's been nearly a year since we're together. I'm very loyal to him and I try to reassure him in any way I can. But nothing would do. He now uses his sarcatic jokes to make comments about my work. He gets very needy and insecure. "You don't care" , "you don't love me like i love you"..."so what skanky ass costume are you wearing for your work halloween party?" It just never stops, it gets draining.
He just doesn't trust me.
PS; Sorry for the long message guys I just don't know how to get my boyfriend back.
