New Virgo Woman Boss

Virgos can be very messy when comes to gossip. Sometimes we can't hold water. I'm guessing if she's gossiping with that many people, she's aware of what she's saying and don't care what get back to who. That's just me thou lol. She could be testing people loyalty as well
So i talked to another coworker in the office and what she told me kinda irked me.
So i asked my coworker (gemini) if the Boss had ever told her "lets keep this between us" during a conversation. Gemini said that yes that indeed happen and then went on to tell me that the virgo was talking shit about fellow coworkers. the same coworkers who the virgo praised to me about. There is a cap lady and she is phenomenal at her job. I brought her up to the virgo during our meeting and i said that the cap is very good at her job and has been since day 1 and that the virgo could rely on her.
meanwhile, the gemini is telling me that no, the virgo was talking shit about the cap to her! the gemini felt so uncomfortable with the discussion that she went to the virgo's boss and HR about it.
I had been also thinking about going to HR about it, but i wanted to do a little bit more investigating first.
The gemini also told me that the virgo was saying things that bordered on jealousy. Like the virgo is jealous over our relationships across the company and within the field. i agreed with her that i got that same feeling and it left me feeling sick. I worked hard to form the relationships and i shouldnt be punished for them. if you want the same relationships, put in your time.

i have to be honest, what really grinded my gears is she also talked shit about the taurus guy and me and him have become close over the few months.
i think she's pretty intelligent but its definitely not professional to bash coworkers to other coworkers.

because you already told us that you do that. Maybe she was hired to get rid of you, and whomever it is talking with you, about others.
You never know. So, your best bet in this case, is to take the high road, and be the person you want to present yourself as.

i wouldnt be where i am if i was unprofessional. My job gives me the rare opportunity to travel the world and represent.
I'm not clear why you are having such a strong reaction to a new supervisor.

But, most importantly of all with that statement ..... it makes the implication that it's all right that she is like that, in so you won't make a stand against the behavior ... unless you're involved. So, that means you don't actually care about her treating her staff wrong, you only care about how you feel.
That reminds me of that horrible black lady several years ago. She was a Scorpio, hung out on the Sag board. She woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and even stated that was the reason for her foul mood one at work. And then she thought that someone was being discriminated against at work, and through a fucking fit. Went to HR, raised a ruckus about being black and being discriminated against .... until she found out it wasn't about her, then she didn't care. Her whole demeanor changed and she couldn't care a less about the principal.
Which means she is the kind of person who is the problem in our country with discrimination. She had no honor at all, and literally didn't give a fuck about it, so long as it wasn't about her. And this lady took down people, under false pretenses, and justified it to herself as being ok because she is black.
A piece of shit, is what she is ... and a disgrace to her race.
Anyway ..... this is what comes to mind when I read that you will raise hell if YOU are involved.
Personally, if I were you .... I would just turn the other cheek, and remain silently calm.
You know, luv ... people hang themselves if given enough rope. If she is bad as you state, then eventually, everyone will begin to see it. You make sure you align yourself with the people/angle in where you are standing for the value of righteousness, and not squabbling in the corner with the other dogs.

You want to promote yourself. So, you have to be conscientious of that if you want to be valued.

It's always good to go with your instincts on something like this. If she's talking to you like this and also others, yeah, there's a good chance she's talking some smack about you too. Just keep your distance and chin up. No reason to play that game.

I think she feels pressure of being new and not really knowing whats going on. She said that shes used to being the go to person, the person who knows everything.
I told her to relax. It took my 8 months to figure things out. She will get there. It will happen.
I also think that when confronted with something different the first instinct is to change it. Critique and change. Rather than learn and understand.

I just dont get good vibes from her. Its safe to say that shes talked about me to other ppl. I mean im well respected at work and i think it makes her uneasy, maybe even jealous. I swear if i could have recorded that convo.

I see some things in your posts that I want to address.
You said the work environment is open and friendly...which would mean there is a certain familiarity and comfort and being some boundaries are more..relaxed. That would explain why all 3 of you talk about people because in some work environments people are more relaxed with each other and familiarity brings a certain type of contempt. It doesn't have to be harmful either. However, if professional standards are to be upheld, all the parties you mentioned: you, virgo, gemini are unprofessional. Or you are all professional..according to the environment.
Secondly, you mentioned something along the line of "when someone back stabs my friends I will speak up". This brings sides to my mind, friends vs enemies. They are your work colleagues first and friends second.
I honestly think it's a combo of trust issues and an iddle mind being the devil's plaything. By that I mean you are either bored or are in one of those scorpio moon private investigation moods and it just so happened to be the Virgo. Some things just don't connect in this story for me. It seems some people get a pass for being friends in an open friendly environment, while others have to uphold some somber standards in the same environment or they are deemed untrustworthy.

She was very unnerving and a bit frightening. This lady scares the shit outta me. Shes good, no very good at deceiving and manipulating people. However i see this shit clear as day.
She was fishing for information hardcore and i wanted to see what would happen if i just sat there and listened. Just nodded my head and took notes. Im not giving her any opportunity to use my words aganist me.
She was telling me about all the employees she wanted to fire and why. People i do and dont work with. How she dislikes negativity and drama. Meanwhile shes in the middle of it.
One thing that really stuck out to me was her behavior toward one employee, my libra coworker. Yes everyone has room for improvement but she was painting the libra to be the worst employee ever, a mean girl, and she isnt. Totally fixated on getting her fired, speaking with a entitled attitude. Telling me she reports back to the head boss about everything we do and dont do. Telling me if she doesnt see the work who cares.
I literally felt like she was trying to passively aggressively bully me on the low. She would go "but im not talking about you" many times when she would talk about perceived behavior.
It was really sickening to watch and hear. She couldnt say shit bout my work tho. My shit is top notch. We spent like 10 mins actually speaking about my role. The rest was about the libra girl and other employees. She sure does love hearing herself talk. Shes exhausting.
We had a second meeting that afternoon with her boss and a few others. Interestingly enough, her bully attitude was gone. The pretentious attitude was no where to be found. Actually she didnt say not one damn word.
Im taking the advice here and doing nothing. This lady is a snake in the grass and dangerous. Operates in deception and is incredibly manipulative.
