Will a Virgo Man accept an honest apology

that's concise and heartfelt and not consider me "weak" ?

I know virgo's revere honesty, integrity and fairness. But they also respect those who are confident, strong minded, and resilient.

so what's the best way to apologize and not come across the wrong way?

Dont cry during your apology.

i hear you there about not crying, however, my apology is going to be in the form of a note or letter. so i won't be physically there when he reads it.

Okay, dont cry all over the letter as you are writing it. lol.


Seriously, dont worry about coming across as 'weak'. Virgos already know it takes a lot of strength to put together a sincere apology. So just focus on being sincere and use words that will touch a virgos heart like...."I'll bake you some brownies." Weel, i mean, that works for me.

the reply I got back from him was rather short and leaves me wondering if he actually accepted my apology in the intent it was meant to be or even cares?

all he said was: "no problem."

there's nothing more i can do at this point. i sucked it up and did the right thing. i'm done.

no doubt. Just a bit let down. Thought he'd be more empathetic as he has been hyper critical of me on the past for.much less.
I know some people just can't admit when they are wrong no matter what. I don't.know if it's insecurity.or.something else? However I wish I could love more.logically and not so much from my heart most of.the time. Think its why i expect so much in return from those ii care deeply about.

Is it just this Virgo (Me) or is anyone else curious as to what the apology was about? I think we could weigh in heavier with what was said/done and a copy of how the apology went. That's just me. Always like being armed with knowledge and hate playing twenty questions, or rather on this site it's answer the OP, find out some new news that tweaks my response, answer the OP, find out new news, and on and on and on.

Did you shat in his cheerios? Did you get drunk at a party and sleep with his best friend? Did you comment on his mom's lazy eye? And how the heck did you phrase the apology?

none of your scenarios.....and is prefer not to go into details other than he's been a steadfast friend for over 20 years and never been this way before with me.
All I said was: "I re read my email I sent earlier this week and owe you an apology. I shouldn't have brought up things from the past or tease you about not showing your emotions. I don't like it when some one tells me how I should feel or express myself. I can understand if my words came across as criticizing.and insensitive.
I've been on an emotional rollercoaster lately and I obviously unthinking too much with my heart and not enough with my head."

If he won't accept my sincere effort to make an honest effort then from my prospective our friendship may be over. Im willing to suck up.my pride to save our friendship but his reply was so generic and brief I'm kind of pissed to be honest with you. Feel as if my trust and respect has been taken for granted.

LOL! Not a Virgo, but yeah, I agree with you. What is up with that? You give an answer and they tweak the story in the next message. I think they are gathering information for all sorts of scenarios and are not honest to begin with. What do you think?

i think if you are implying that i haven't been honest in this post, then you have no clue. honesty is not monopolized by virgo's or any sign for that matter. honesty comes from having integrity and sound character, period.

i even went as far to post my apology as someone had requested. i didn't have to do that.

i am not comfortable telling the entire scenario because i've seen how some on this board will viciously attack someone on a personal level.

because my friend is a virgo male and someone in my life i value, i simply came here for advice from those who understand VM best; other virgo's.

i'm not going to get on here and contrive a bunch of total BS to appease someone as yourself who obviously wants to read more gossip/drama about someone you don't even know, and isn't factual anyway.

Okay. Suit yourself. Ask around as to what I try to provide here. I don't bash anyone on here, ever. I don't know you nor do I want to "use" anything against you. I (we) are very factual people and I can't tell you yes we'll accept an apology if you stole his lunch money and bought cocaine with it. I weigh facts and make informed decisions. Your initial request for insight is giving you that insight isn't it? I just hate being unarmed and like knowing both sides of the story before answering an inquiry. Peace.

And there are many levels of honesty but all centered around one point: be honest. With yourself, with family, with friends. How do you feel about your apology? How do you feel about your deed? Was the apology from the heart? Or are you going through the motions because it's the "right thing to do"?

So if I read your posting correctly, the initial email you sent was quite recent? Virgos take awhile to analyze situations and your Virgo is probably still taking in everything you intially wrote and your apology.I think your Virgo will come around and you'll still be friends. They are very sensitive and serious minded.

I was friends with a Virgo male for 17 years and we dated for 3 months. Something happened and he told me he never, ever wanted to talk or see me again and never to contact him (this happened two months ago). I apologized for what happened. At first, he didn't even acknoedge it, however, about a month later he called and since then we speak about once a week and the conversations are becoming longer and more comfortable. We still aren't back together, however with Virgos you have to take baby steps...especially if they have been hurt and your Virgo probably had his feelings hurt and in addition to that it was by someone he has known a long time.

My advice: You apologized so now just give him space to analyze it and I believe he will come around. When he does, don't bring up the initial email...just move on from it!!
