Meeting Someone from DXP in Person
Meeting someone from DXP in person depends on trust and comfort levels. It can be safe if proper precautions are taken, but some may feel it is risky due to online anonymity. Attending a DXP gathering could be an interesting way to connect, but personal safety should always be a priority.

Well I take back my last comment. If I had to meet anyone, it would be clcny 'cause she's cool beans.
I've met people off the interwebz before, so no, I really wouldn't find it that risky.
As for would I do it? Sure. There are some people that I find very cool, but I can only really do this after forming a stronger connection.
I can totally meet some people platonically and some for a night of passion. I've met a lot of very cool and helpful people here. And if I didn't meet them, it wouldn't be the end of the world.
I haven't met anyone off of here, but then again, there are very little people close to my area. And I'm definitely not traveling anytime soon.

They are quite oblivious now aren't they? I think there was a Cap guy that liked me once. He kept staring at my lips and would give me the nicest compliments. He would even talk to me for long periods of time and one day when he was standing by the copy machine I was approaching to make copies of my own and he got all flustered all of a sudden. He turned scarlett. I didn't understand it because I wasn't very attracted to him so in that moment I just backed up. I guess you could say I never really paid it much attention. I was quite shy with everyone in general and quite oblivious to him really. Didn't actually process it all until I left the job. He was trying to find out where I was going a week before I was leaving and I just kept saying 'I don't know.' LOL.
