Use and lose (or abuse?)

So tell me, just how good is Taurus at keeping people in their lives ONLY because of their usefulness. Don’t lie and say it isn’t possible. Bulls like having a collection of things, and money because they feel safe or some shit like that. This includes people too. You know, the man or woman you remain friendly with because they can “hook you up” with a discount somewhere. Or give you a ride now that your car may be on the skids. Or they know how to fix things for you for cheap.

Why call repair men, Uber, etc., when you can string X person along instead. Actually convincing them they’re your friend must be a plus, no?

On a side not a Taurus relative of mine is considering getting pregnant so she can get health insurance, and get her gall bladder out, then she’ll just give the baby up for adoption later. I had words with this… “woman” and told her I’d rather have the worst bought of stomach flu known to man, for a year, than to have to see her again. This is of course an extreme case. But it just highlights to me how crafty and savvy, and sneaky and underhanded Taurus can be if they can get something out of it to their benefit. All the better if it’s free I’m sure.

Interesting indeed. It IS something I’ve seen I caps and to a slight extent in Virgos. I came away thinking that being seeing people in terms of their potential “usefulness” was an earth sign thing.

Remind me again of the mottos for Taurus. Yeah Capricorn’s is “I Use.” Virgo’s is “I help.”

She is considering putting her health, mental and physical, through a stressful and dangerous ass pregnancy all so she can qualify for affordable healthcare to address an underlying and potentially life threatening health problem.

Well she’s stupid, because most doctors won’t remove a pregnant woman’s gall bladder because she is PREGNANT. Also, most doctors today remove gall bladders as a last resort. Opting instead for the poor SOB to change their eating habits dramatically, take meds, etc. you pretty much have to have a blockage to get it taken out, which she doesn’t have.

She wants to work part time, count her money and possessions, rather than work more hours or get a real job that offers her health insurance.

OH! She did get a job that offered her health insurance after a 90 day probation, but she didn’t like it and quit after two weeks. 🙄 She also did qualify for some kind of “Biden care” but decided it was “too expensive” for what it offered.

(Reminded me of the Taurus guy I knew who demanded he be given auto insurance for $ 39.99 a month, then drove uninsured when no insurance company to bow down to his demands. What an idiot.)

When I told her to get catastrophic care coverage, precisely FOR things like surgeries, organ removal, hospitalizations, etc., she flat out said it was too expensive. When she got sick she didn’t want to call the ambulance because it was “too expensive.”

Relenting to let them take out her gall bladder, without insurance, is something she would “never financially recover from” so she continues to suffer.

If she’s going to stupidly let some guy knock her up for the health insurance I DON’T feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for the baby that she doesn’t want. I don’t feel sorry for any woman knowingly, deliberately, consensually getting herself pregnant JUST for the health insurance. Nope.

To date she’s done nothing but sit back and, think about how everything is too expensive or not worth it. She is indeed picking her poison. 👏👏👏👏👏

Are you starting to realise that perhaps it's not the English who are stupid but that just possibly it might be you?

Finally, taking the piss is either joking at someone's expense, for example, if you take the piss out of someone's haircut you say rude but funny things about it. Or taking the piss can mean crossing boundaries or overstepping what is acceptable, so you might say "this guy is taking the piss" if he's taking forever to park his car and blocking the street in the process

So she is saying there are an unacceptable number of Taurus threads, although of course she is not actually complaining but simply commenting on the unusually high proportion of dumb Taurus threads currently in circulation

It doesn’t matter if she works part time or full time. Health care is a human right. Even with insurance the procedure would most likely bankrupt her.

Again, your ire is misdirected. Yes you can disagree with her choices from a moral standpoint. But acknowledge the system that exists that puts profit over people is the responsible agent for her having to consider this path in the first place.

Sorry lady, but my ire isn’t “misdirected.” I can believe the healthcare system is broken and believe healthcare is a basic human right, chant “Medicaid for all” like the rest of you - actually knowing how broken Medicaid is why on earth would I do that? We’d go from bad to slightly less bad - and be pissed at politicians, and still be pissed at my niece for contemplating a stupid decision. Again, in such a situation, I’d feel sorrier for the baby. The real only innocent there. Sorry if you can’t comprehend.
