Im an Aquarius ascendent. Im not sure if I look like one but most people don’t even once think the possibility of me being an Aquarius ascendent. Ive gotten people guess Taurus, Scorpio, Sag, or even Virgo rising lol I don’t even have those signs in my chart.

I don’t relate to the description of Aquarius rising though. When I was younger I know I probably did come off very aloof, stand offish, and serious to people I didn’t know. I still probably do but I think I smile a bit more than I used to but I just naturally have rbf lol but Im not sure if these characteristics are because my rising or Saturn in the 1st house.

Ive always been a quiet introvert. Usually Aquarius aren’t associated with that.

I have a full 1st house though that might mess up my ascendent.

Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn in the 1st house

No aspects to it except eros if that counts

Also my ascendent ruler is in the 12th house conjunct Neptune so that probably also affects the more social nature of my rising.

So the ruler of your ascendant is in the 12th and 1st house? I was always confused by that cus I always thought the 1st house is the ruler of the ascendant.

That last part of your post is pretty interesting to me. Had me sittin here thinking. I got Pluto in my 12th house conjunct ascendant. I think that what makes me more anti social by nature like I couldn't care less to get involved. And that's not to mention being born under a new moon. You can imagine my fond love of darkness.

Well I only wish that I know peoples time of birth sometimes cus I kinda tend to think most Scorpio risings are sexy but lean more towards the skinny and tall side.

Now that we're on the subject I think now is the perfect time to bring this up. I identify with my rising too but the most embarrassing and ridiculous part is that I'm suppose to be a peoples person which I can't see that shit happening. And since I'm right smack dab on the cusp of Virgo rising I carry some of its traits too. Sometimes even I don't know for certain which one of those risings I am. I would only guess Libra was found rising at the time I took my first breath.

Say for instance you was born when Scorpio was rising but you didn't took your first breath a few seconds until Sagittarius was rising. Then Sagittarius would be your rising sign. Gosh I hope I explain that better. I'm sucks at explaining lol.

I wonder if the "first breath" (which happens several seconds after the birth) is just a metaphor.

Why would breath be the most relevant thing to establish a rising? The lungs of a newborn are filled with liquid...the first breath does not fill them with with air yet, it takes a bit longer for the liquid to absorb. Meanwhile, the newborn still "breathes" through the umbilical cord, up to the moment it is cut.

Yeah if only I can keep mines well kept. I had my shit braided like dreadlocks but recently took it out so I can be free to scratch my scalp. It be itching so much. And talk about gray. I don't even wanna go there.

I can be salty too I'm not perfect but the saltiness don't last long before I get right back to my sweet self again.

I am a Virgo Ascendant but, for the most part, I don't identify with it. I identify a lot more with my sun, Pisces.
