Shall l move on from this Gemini guy?

There is this Gemini guy at uni l started liking him, but there is a girl who's all the time around him. Of course he likes the attention. I asked him if they're together and he said no. Then he asked me if l am with some guy l'm best friends with, but he has a girlfriend and we're all three friends. I told him "of course not". At the moment l am with my friend at some conference and going for 3 days of holiday together. I posted some insta story from the event with him. Suddenly l've seen on this Gemini guy's twitter some pictures with him and that girl from some event they went together. Did he do this just to get revenge? I like him a lot and l'm afraid l'm losing him over that girl.

Hello then, I was born in Romania too! For rising, you need to ask your mother the time of your birth.

I also love going to conferences and having my picture taken with the colleagues I went there with, and with whoever may ask (not that many will ask, I'm not a Nobel prize winner, lol). They are not even platonic friends! Or lovers, ffs. They are colleagues, and more often than not, competitors! It is called networking.

@Piscesmissus: I don't know why you are worried about "that girl" aka his female colleague....? Wait for him to come back and ask him out on a date "to celebrate" or something.

I'll tell you a story to cheer you up, about a peer of mine I met at a Conference in the US. He is from Eastern Europe and works in the US. He had an amazing manuscript published in Science recently and was invited, together with his student, the first author of that manuscript, to speak at a Conference in Germany. The problem was, he needed a visa, and found out that he may get one only AFTER the Conference.

So he took plan B, to ask for a visa for France instead, since he heard it takes a shorter time to get it, and it's also valid for Germany. So he and his student were invited for a short interview at the Embassy of France. They were advised not to mention the conference in Germany, since they may not get a visa for France.

"So where do you want to travel?"

"To Paris"

"What are you two planning on doing in Paris for a few days?"

"We are having a short break to...to visit Paris"

Officer then turned to the student, who was a beautiful native American woman: "Are you married?"

"Yes I am."

Officer turns to the EE colleague:

"Are YOU married?"

"No, I'm not!"

"So what are you doing visiting Paris with a married woman...—?"

@undine thank you for the lovely story. Both of us are chemists (he just finished his PhD), l have one more year. She's everywhere he goes, he comes after me. I do realize l'm older than him, but we look the other way round. One day he made a ring in the lab, put it on my finger (the ring finger) and asked me:"do you"? And l said "l do". He didn't stop playing with my hand. I gave him the ring back and she wanted to have it too. He said "no, it's mine". However l tend to believe he likes me more than her.

One could have good chemistry with a much younger man and enjoy the...the energy exchange. If you are often mistaken for a 15 yrs younger woman, these are the men approaching you the most, while those slightly older than you are keeping their distance (the story of my life).

If you don't do short flings, but want something serious and lasting, set the boundaries. It's not that I don't approve of such relationships, but I don't know any examples of long lasting relationships where the woman is 15 years older. Up to 5 years older...maybe, under certain circumstances. But 15 yrs,...no way!!! You are going to get hurt.

Yes, you shall. First of all Gems are jokers/flirts of the Zodiac so it’s really hard to gauge actual interest. Second, a Gem male is often like a pup until 30s where he likes to play, hump anything and piss anywhere he likes... you get what I’m saying? Also, you are both in totally different stages and generations so what do you both have in common? I can’t even go into the ways to know if he likes you or not because I can’t take this serious and neither should you. Find a Gem closer to 40 it will be better.

We see eachother outside the classrooms, but with friends and sometimes just with my best friend and her boyfriend. He didn't ask me out, so nothing like that yet. He helps me with my stuff sometimes and makes small surprises. But l guess this the 3 year friendship talking.
