Advice on how to approach this aqua guy the right way

Hi,

so this aquarius has been on and off in contact with me over a year. Lately he's been coming on strong again, I tried to forget abt him a year ago when i thought he was just looking for a moment of fun, and I kinda did, but not completely.

So he will randomly ask me over, late.. which I see only as a bootycall, and I want to get to know him better, not just physically.
So we went partying together and ended up in his place but I did not give in to his many attempts, because I know it will be over if I did.

I really want to get to know him, like a friend and maybe evolve from there, and not be just another ''girl'' to him, is this even possible?
He is not much of a talker, only a jokster in most cases, And I love to talk about everything under the sun, i have many interest and would love to engage him in a proper convo. When we were out on town I gave him his space to be himself, talk to randoms and stuff like that and If this is the flirting I've heard of it wasn't the least bothersome, My bestfriend is a aqua girl, she is everyones friend when we're out, yet isolated to a T when at home, much like him, so I get this behaviour. So I encouraged his wits and talking up strangers, the thing is I generate alot of attention without any effort, so while he was doing his standup routine to some girls, some guys came and lifted me up and carried me away, to which he immedeatly left his entourage to check what was going on and if I was ok etc. And then when he talked randomly to girls he would grab my hand or something like that as reassurance. does this mean anything or just plain friendly? He did seem very stressed, restless and hyper in a weird combo. The first time I met him he was quiet the whole time. I can either be superhyper at parties etc or completely laidback requiring my own space. I would really like to be his friend first off, he knows everybody but i doubt the level of close firends he has.
He will usually write me shortly, every night or every other day etc. I for some weird reason never write a guy, and never chase, so all contact is left up to him which he might find relaxing.

I told him I am semi introverted and i really wanted a boyfriend but i doubt I could ever live with one as I love my personal space but still wanted someone special to long to , and he replied we were 100% alike.

I am an aries girl with mars aqua, he aqua with mars in aries. I noticed the aries influence in his physical approach :p i still got bitemarks on my shoulder.
Sorry for all the fluff, I want to know how do I get more friendly with him as I feel he's very direct sexually and suspect that's all there is to it. Esp when he's not much of a talker..

I have another aqua guy pursuing me, that writes essays each time, and said he would make it his life mission to make me his gf. He to me is more the genius type, this other guy in question more the goofy type, should he be approached differently? I want him tho, no question abt that 😛

Let him approach you. Be yourself. Be willing to try new things. Be open minded and once in awhile if he want some space. Let him have it. Don't accuse him for neglect or cheating which would piss him off. When he wants alone, it means he wants some breathing room. Speaking as if I like a woman to notice me more.
