Aqua and Cap
I'm not a Cap sun- put I have a lot of Cap in my chart. I think the reason Cap placements work with Aquas is because a lot of Aquas have water in their charts (Scorp/Pisces placements) and Cap placements have the patience to deal with the moodiness of water.
Hmm. My first cap guy came on like a storm and wouldnt quit till he won me over. Then he ended up running me over (figuratively) then the relationship was over. lol I swore off Caps.
Buut met another and when I found out he was one, though he was seriously chasing me and making my head swim I was thinking "Oh no not again, this will change from sweet an loving to cold and judgemental"
Well..for a year that hasnt happened. I am currently waiting for him to contact me after pulling the infamous dissapearing act with no reason that I could see. At least no reson he couldn't ask me about first.,

Well Caps are one if the few signs at least I have found that are quick witted enough to keep up with our constantly changing minds. Conversation with an Aqua is like when a stunt driver slams on the brakes and skids into the opposite direction really fast. Most ppl are left conversationally in the dust when we have huge random swings in subject matter. Also they seem to know us inside and though we like our air of mystery, theres always a feeling that no one "gets" us.
and passion..don;t get me started. Aquarius loves adventure..Caps seem to as well.
Plus they can make me laugh - hard. We seem to be able to do the same to them.
It's a shared bunch of quirks I guess.

I think it's the aggression and persistence of the guy that ties us down. Because we flee so much, I feel earth signs are the ones who actually will persistently run after you and pin you down -- literally haha. And then it goes from annoying to amusing somehow, which is weird and we're weird so that's why we welcome it lol. We do like crazy people haha. I had a Taurus & Cap ex who were annoyingly persistent, and I thought both were obnoxious. But I gave in to dating them and then a relationship came out of each. And come to think of it, all my relationships have been when the guy was really aggressive. And I feel Caps, out of all the Earth signs are the MOST aggressive so maybe that's y there's lot of aqua-cap pairings. Sagi guys are aggressive to an extent, but I feel Caps actually are and keep on being that way until they actually win you over.
But same w/ a luvnacap, I've sworn off all Caps. I've had great & bad experiences w/ both, but personally I find them too too much of a delegator, possessive, and controlling for a sign that needs a LOT of freedom especially since we were together at a younger age. But I can definitely see how an aqua can become enamored with one, I was too once. I think you & your bf signs in aqua, cap & pisces are complementary though. You have those signs and so does he so that probably will help in the long run. How old are you guys?

Lol seriously. They dont quit haha. I'm thinking b/c we're such (or @ least I am) "out of sight, out of mind" people, b/c they keep popping up it eventually becomes normal and welcoming. Would u agree?
Forgot to add, my venus is in pisces too. And pisces + caps are compatible signs, so I think having that helps even more. I said I think ok lol. That's just my thought
I am either consistently attracted to or am attracting Aquas. I just went out with my 3rd aqua in a years time. Was going to give up on aquas, but oh well.... I just seem to fit with them.
well it seems Cap and aqua share wit, humor, passion, willful pigheadedness, being withdrawn and secretly insecure, need to learn and interact as well as a need for space and time to reflect alone so I guess thats why we "get " each other.
But the Aquarius sense of all over the place chasing things that are intertesting irks the neat corners of the Cap's very orderly world and thats the rub.
If a Cap can learn to appreciate that in an aqua and not take it personally and realize we need the secure grounding stable protection of you when we come bounding back from the stars then all would be right with the relationship and in turn we learn to reel it in a little by seeing things from your point of view which you really have to remind us of that would be good too.

Hmmmm. I suppose you mean staking claim, fending off other women from our man? Hopefully our man is ignoring them or clueless enough (because they are not noticing and not interested) not to pay them any attention.
I've never really thought of it as "marking my territory". I'm a female and I suppose we do that the same as the males do. I for one, do it through eye contact - subtle or not so subtle depends on the other woman. Some women will pick it up as a challenge - have to be careful. A little sarcasm at the right time when necessary can put them in their place as well (can be rude or super sweet and gracious). Whether it works though....—?? Really depends on how the man is responding to the other women. And if he flirts back - thats probably a relationship on borrowed time.

i think initially their ambition becomes attractive. they seem "fun" and lighthearted but man i tell ya. i have one cap ..hes been pursuing me for 4 years. 4! i have to say...im not comfortable with cap guys, too uptight i feel uptight.

The earth signs persistance? Uhm...but aqua came after me though...I liked the fact that he listened. When I said no, he understood...and that is what made me want him. Lol something like that...he still stuck around, as someone I could talk to, until I realised he makes me really happy.
He's 19 I'm 21...

Okay,well I can't speak for caps, but when someone would dare even flirt with a guy I was dating...I would do the whole going cold thing, I would totally shut off, after giving the girl a crazy stare or something. Or I would just look at her kinda disgusted...
I've seen this with a lot of caps. My cap ex used to do this a lot...!! Even I would be scared...
But now its the opposite...the more they flirt with him, the more I'm loving it...hahaha...
The fact that he's so open as a person, makes him so attractive. And after he's done running around with his people...I love the fact he always comes back to me.
I was the queen of possessiveness. Every fb comment, every time he got a text, I would cringe. I wanted to know where he was, with who, what he was doing, and all that. That's why I am so curious...how does aqua cope?? With caps that aren't so flexible you know...?

..Which makes us peep over the top of our very high protective walls and feel safe enough to stick a toe out..then a leg..then WHAM - silence, seeming dissaproval, dissapearing and yes their flirting nature. Leaving us stunned and unprotected perched nekked on top of that big ol wall we love so much.
For me as an Aqua, in our world everythng has significance. Even a sunrise or a breeze in some way seems more than just a thing. So being blown off with no warning or explanation and cut off by silence makes us feel so small and insignificant after feeling that we mean so much to someone. Thats natural for anyone to feel, but for an Aqua its especially harsh.
sudden insignificance in a world full of significance..do the math. Its emotionally being slammed onto a brick wall you never saw coming and you bang on it and feel around the edges but it's solid, completely resistant to reason, communication or any other attempt at softening the mortar...and youre on the outside of it.
This is crushing for an Aqua. At least for me.
So we try hard to know them, to please them to communicate and try to see things coming but you know??
I am sitting here now, blindsided.. doing nothing but questioning my own possible shortcomings even though I have read and now recognise and understand what this Cap reaction is. I even had an inking thats what it was because it happened in mini spurts before. I am in my more rational mind kinda pleased at what it possibly means,

I havent always made the best choices, but when I go into something *originally unintentionally then realize uh-oh* I know its up to me to decide and then take personal responsibility for how far I will let myself be pushed towards the edge or how much collateral damage I am going to decide to take on. Then I just have me to blame cause I know I could have gotten out. This is not necessarily romatic relationships for me sometimes its a freindship or someone at work I have to deal with etc. Depends on what you want out of it and what crap youre willing to let yourself in for.

Aquas are confusing to us too. The aloofness, the disappearing, the vagueness, the nonshowing of emotions....then we get a glimpse of emotion and the real person inside. We (well, me) are hooked. Then, Aqua makes an effort, backs off, makes an effort. Cap makes an effort, willing to be a little vulnerable - no response. Cap disappears. Aqua comes back with effort....Vicious cycle. I guess its testing and fear from both sides? The Aqua I am interested in has Cap Venus. I have Scorp venus. Is it the mistrust, insecurities, fear—? Funny thing is we have admitted to each other we have crushes on each other, its obvious to everyone else we like each other....but still haven't taken anything forward or even been out on an official date. Still playing the back and forth game. I think my persistence and patience will eventually get us there. —? Who knows. I have another Aqua wanting to go out (which Aqua interest knows about), soooo....the cycle continues.

Aqua guy?! I don't meet many. One guy I worked with was an Aqua and I loved our talks. We'd talk about everything and I'd agree with a lot of his point, plus he was hilarious, so that's always a plus. His mother was a Capricorn, and goodness, he had some funny stories to tell about her.

OMG u guys seriously just preached! I agree 100% w/ wut luvnacap & truecap said about the back & forth thing w/ effort, the drawback, the sudden shock of them flipping the scrip, etc -- that's everything Ive felt b4 bt never was able to put into words myself. I have yet to meet a libra tho! Hopefully I'll get to experience the dynamic of our signs chemistry one day!
Definately agree on the back and forth thing...me and my aqua do this a lot. He's got venus aries and moon libra, and I've got moon aqua, venus cap.
When we're both distant we usually stalk/check up on eachother...he knows I'm about, I know he is, but we won't make actual contact. We both do our own thing during this time. This usually goes on for a few days, never longer than a week then he comes back charming as ever. I have to admit though I do the distant thing more than him, maybe due to my aqua moon.

cap & aqua are next to each other in months......this means they have a lot in common cos they are born at similar time there is a desperate search for something profound in both signs but they look in different places. One looks to past and earth the other to air and the future. But both are very dry, hard, not heavily emotional but more following righteousness and visionary ideals.
I have 2 aqua parents and 4 aqua friends. the 2 female aquas are both quite aggressive and domineering. Of the males one is very domineering but the other 3 are submissive. one is very affectionate and one was very unaffectionate. One was very spiritual and the other 5 are very atheist and uninterested in self development etc.

I'm an aqua in love with a Cap from my past. but I hurt him, and Caps are already really guarded so since reuniting he has taken to his hot/cold tendencies with me. Its REALLY starting to get to me. I don't understand how someone can be so touchy/feely affectionate when you are together and aloof and distant when you're apart. I feel disconnected to him until we come face to face and then its like his wall of ice melts...strangeness

lol I guess it makes sense, but the pattern of behavior is odd to me. Although Aquas are "non-conventional" we think logically when it comes to emotions. Its hard for me to understand him because I never tried to win him back, I wasn't expecting any kind of forgiveness. I'm glad he forgave me, but what's the point of reaching out to me to pull away. I'm an aqua in love with a Cap from my past. but I hurt him, and Caps are already really guarded so since reuniting he has taken to his hot/cold tendencies with me. Its REALLY starting to get to me. I don't understand how someone can be so touchy/feely affectionate when you are together and aloof and distant when you're apart. I feel disconnected to him until we come face to face and then its like his wall of ice melts...strangeness
When you're together there's no doubt in his mind about how you feel abt him...but when you're apart he's on paranoia mode...esp if u don't really chat alot, or if you take long...
it could be that he's learning to trust u again, but when he's with you, his knees go weak and he's just in the moment 🙂
The weirdest thing is, that for me and my aqua, we got closer on the phone first, and then we slowly had to let our guards down in person...which took time I tell yah! So atleast u know he melts in ur presence 🙂
I love what you guys have shared about Aquarius Men. I use to be BEST Friends with one long ago. We were "thick as thieves" as the cliche says. People thought we were together though each of us had someone in our lives. We spent ALL our time with EACH other to the point that his girlfriends would get mad and issue ultimatums either them or me so he'd tell them that I was there before them and since they feel threatened Bye Bye. We'd flirt with each other BAD and we knew we wanted each other too. We were friends for many years until he did something to sabotage the friendship. That is what Aquas do when things get to good they feel they have to beat you to the punch of turning on you before you turn on them. It hurt sooo bad my heart ached. I didn't talk to him for many years. Then he moved away and one day came to my job to see me. I hadn't spoken to him in years and the reunion was bittersweet. I was happy to see him but a different happy. That spark and glow I once held for him was no longer there. I vowed then to NEVER EVER befriend an Aquarius guy.
Speed up to the present and there is this Aquarius guy who is sooo gorgeous! Distances seperates us he's in the Uk and I am in the U.S. What's making me shocked is how he flirts with me and in the back of my mind I'm going uhh I know you have tons of groupies chasing you. I like him but not enough to get my head played with again. That push pull thing or back and forth thing is HORRIBLE. I feel like cutting ties right NOW.

I'm an aqua female, but I have been guilty of sabotaging things before they went bad...I think its a trust issue.

yeah that makes sense. He has gotten better over phone/text and I know it'll take some time to regain his trust so I'm trying to control my urge to sabotage things LOL. Man I can be so bad with that sometimes, just sweep things out of my life with finality. I think its a lack of patience. But I KNOW he's worth it so I'm gonna hang in there 🙂
Caps have been known to sabatoge things too. Its a fear of rejection, I think.
