What, no bouquet to catch? You could have been next to bite the dust 😉

Small weddings are nice... Loved the dress code!

Thing with Aquas though they have a routine that they stick to. It's no use pretending, we do the same things over and over. So once you figure out where she likes to hang, you'll definitely see her there often.

More secrets, sigh.

we're pretty easy aren't we? an open book!!

I think we're pretty easy with our peculiar needs...

talking about weddings - I'm now taking the needed steps to initiate the divorce. nerverecking and depressing but I'm happy my family stands behind me aswell as my boyfriend and his family. not really sleeping since months - but hey I dwell in shit for a few minutes and later on I catch myself again and focus on what needs to be done. nobody's going to do it if I ain't doing it...

just got a little kick back ysterday when I was told that he didn't pay our taxes correctly since1.5 yrs and shit like this - I know we aren't together anymore but stil I thought I can rely on his words. that was a shock and now I'll do things myself so I gain control over the situation before more shit happens

Once the divorce proceedings are in the works, you can NEVER trust anything he says. I learned this the hard way. My exhusband flip flopped and would say one thing and do another. Kept changing his mind on everything. Get everything from him in writing, that way he can't say he never said that. I made mine communicate with me only through e-mail or text, that way I had some back up.

So I have had a big life change in the past week. I took a step back at work. I have been a manger for 3 years and it's been rough. It has gotten to where it is affecting me physically, stress is off the charts, my doc put me on blood pressure medication etc... I went back to being an assistant ( part my choice, part not) . After some stuff happening I finally broke down during my evaluation and spoke up. It's been part of the stress that I have been carrying and I am relieved to be back in a role that has less responsibilities.

I have been beating my self up for days over it all... mostly the fact that I didn't speak up sooner and ask to have this happen. I have known that I was overwhelmed for at least 6 months... do any of you keep stuff like that locked inside?

How are things now? Yes, I tend to not want to rock the boat at work. I was in a managerial position a few years ago and that was quite stressful. Dealing with others takes an incredible amount of patience.

Depends on the stress. I promised myself not to get too involved again unless it's something I'm passionate about because all the stress is worth the satisfaction of achievement.

It's more things like (talking about service industry here) where I have to pick up people's slack or deal with their own personal lives that's affecting work, pulling shifts after shifts to ensure operation continue without stressing other employees which in retrospect is probably more a failure on higher ends part for ensuring maximum efficiency at lower running cost i.e. less staff.

Sink or swim I think. I thrive really well under pressure and to be honest I'm probably on some crusade in changing the hospitality structure but we'll see if that actually works so that's the only reason why I prefer to stay at the higher end of the hierarchy like a manager.

This is probably becoming a vent now, I would love to see more managers on the floor besides doing paperwork and actually motivating the staff and being with them.

It's going very well. Thank you for asking 🙂
Barely any stress, much needed break.

@truecap very true!!

You were smart to speak up and recognize when you're overwhelmed. Happiness is what's important. Glad it's going better for you. 🙂

I stepped down from a directorship position after my divorce. Don't have time or energy to worry about all that plus be a single mom and take care of all the household duties by myself. I don't regret letting go of that responsibility not one bit.

Yea I landed in the hospital in December- blood pressure was off the charts, I actually thought was having a heart attack.. at 43 😢 Since that time I have debating on if the stress was worth it.. life is much more precious for me. No regrets for me either, so far 🙂

I honestly don't give a f uck about anything except all things that concern me so Imma just go ahead and concentrate on that. The world is a shit-dump and won't improve anytime soon and the human population is just as bad. My goal is to make at least one human smile a sincere smile everyday and after that my work is done.

I take care of what matters to me, friends, family and so on. I will help a stranger in need and will do acts of random kindness.

I shall admit that my moon is a piece of work...there is nothing to envy about having a Cap moon because we "can be" colder than you could imagine. I actually have to force myself through numerous dramatic experiences so that I can feel, anything.

I quit less than a year ago.. It's hard as I crave them all the time.

That's great ! I quit many moons ago and still feel like smoking when I'm around my smoking friends. Hardest thing I ever did, was to quit 😢

the irony of your Avi... it makes me want to smoke 😛
