Gossip with the enemy

Would you talk to somebody like they are your friend eventhough both of you know they you can't stand each other. Some people say that you should keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer as the saying goes, but i feel like if i don't like why should i spend time talking to you. What do you guys think?

well there are people who i KNOW dont like me but i have to talk to them coz you have to be diplomatic... yes they are not my best of friends but i do talk to them coz i have to.....

I wouldnt be nasty towards you but we wont be 'buddies' either. Sometimes you dont even know why people dont like you, so you really shouldnt care and act oblivious to the matter...thats what I d, but always be on the look out.

I totally agree with you SB, some of my really good friends now are the ones who didnt like me at first coz we didnt know each other.....so i talk to everyone.... all are welcome.... and it doesnt bother me if people backstab or gossip behind my back coz they cant do me any harm... everyone knows me enuff not to believe all those lies and those who believe them well its their LOSS... 🙂

well i hope you tell them or atleast they know why you are giving them silent treatment coz i know alot of people who just 'assume' you have been talking behind their backs and dont talk to u...... Im like HELLLLOOOO....i have more improtant things to do then sit and discuss your life... i hate misunderstandings and assumptions.....
