My Aqua's father is actively dying from esophageal cancer and is now DNR. His relationship with his dad is very strained and he has a lot of hurt where he is concerned. He states that he is feeling disconnected but I can clearly see the worry and pain on his face. He has a long history of alcoholism and I am sooo worried that he will fall back on this old friend. He says he knows wholeheartedly that I am her for him. How do I help him other than hold his hand?
