What is he thinking

Take 2: I tried posting this before but it just disappeared

Hey y'all!

I'm going to try and make this story short. A few months ago I was introduced to this Aqua it was mainly work related as I was assigned to to him and him acting as my mentor. Over this period I've gotten to know him a lot better as most of our time has been taken up working together while working for the same company. We are basically trainers for our particular brand in hospitality so most of the time we hang out chat with other people and liquor testing and genuinely just a lot of fun whilst not doing paperwork.

Needless to say I've grown to really admire him and though I don't want to admit it perhaps I've developed some feelings for him. He's much older than me he just had his 34th birthday while I'm about to have my 25th this coming month and though I've never been one to care about age there's a voice that nags. I'm from Australia where the hospo industry is known to be a bit of a cesspool where everyone sleeps with everyone else and though I've heard stories from his colleagues all of them say he hasn't really done it for over a decade now. I'm fully aware a lot of these makes me seem stalkerish.

Just last month we had a huge work party and it was the first time I've seen him loosen up a bit. He has always been very professional at work but he's always been very private about his life, lets loose a few details here and there it was all nothing until the work party. We were all really tipsy and I manage to catch him alone for a few hours after everyone else retired. I get really touchy when tipsy and I guess that night I just lost a bit of discipline.

Unfortunately no nothing happened, I passed out soon after. Woke up in his bed with nothing but a note telling me not to be late for work and breakfast. Kicking myself for being such a lightweight and he made sure to make fun of me at work about it. Work that day went as normal it's like what I did went completely unnoticed. When I had ask him about it he just said that he's experienced it a few times when people get drunk and he likes me too much to take advantage of it. Now I get he was joking but he added the line "besides you'd never know if I really like you unless I tell you".

Look maybe I'm that girl but I've never had to sit on the fence about finding out whether someone likes me or not but this strange, magnetic and mysterious aqua man just isn't showing any clues. There's a few that I thought were his hints but after reading about aquas it seems you guys are a friendly and professional bunch and I'll always remember what he says "flirting is just part of the job".

So help me out here aquas, what do you make of this man and what are the definite tell-tale signs when you definitely like someone?

If he likes you, he will let you know.

I dont really know what to think of your relentless pursuing, maybe he doesnt know either? 🙂

it seems that you set your sights to get him and are bewildered how comes this "much older man" doesnt succumbed to your charms? how he dares 🙂

sorry, its just how you told the story, I cant take your interest in him seriously really (but I am not a man)
