What makes you
Nothing defines you unless you want it to define you.
I personally believe that the past does have some effect on who you are today. But you can also change today if you really wanted to. It's a balance I think.
Or perhaps you're one of those who believes in the now and that your decisions and feelings and who you are now are completely detached from the past or future.
I am more to this type.
This is my thoughts on the past.
I can choose to let it define me, confine me, refine me, or outshine me, or I can choose to move on, and leave it behind me.
life really is what we make it.
You can learn from the past... I know I have. And I wouldn't be the person I am today with out the trails and tribulations of my past. I didn't let it define I just took the lessons and moved on.
