...He called me my love.....after i ended things....

long story short....

I decided to not continue our relation....at this point in time...

during our goodbyes, he said he will always be there for me 24/7..and that i am always going to be his lover/ friend ...and for the first time he called me my love....

its been over a week and he still calls me baby...babe...which i insisted for him not to...

he still does it.....

the thing is,

what does * my love * even mean to him ...

and when an aqua try to end a relation with someone, is it truly over for them...because they are so grey...i just dont get them sometimes...

i try so hard to b black and white and try to just BE FRIENDS...

but he's not getting it or something... 😢 or refuse to get it or accept my decision....?

in the beginning of our relation..

he used to call me baby, n i brought it up ..he says people say baby all the time, do girls not call each other babes?...he said he does sometimes call other girls babe too..like friends and all. and he said

if it was like * my love * then thats a whole other story....

and now he did it..what does it mean 😢

he says he has feelings....though he never said he LOVES me or anything..

he knows i love him though..

Aquas prefer to leave relationships on good terms. It's not because they want to date you later. It's because if they genuinely care for you, they're still gonna care for you after the boundaries between you change. He may just be using endearing words to let you know that. He needs to respect your boundaries, though. If you said no pet names, he needs to stop with pet names. Might be good to get yourself away from him for a while.

You may need to tell him directly again or remove yourself from the situation. You don't have to be his friend just because he wants you to. If you both want that, though, there's nothing wrong with it. It's just really hard to establish the appropriate boundaries after you've been with someone and you're trying to switch that to friends.

If it makes you feel any better, at least you know he really cared for you.
