Why an Aquarius Expresses Love but Avoids Commitment

Aquarius individuals often value independence and may express deep feelings without wanting to settle down. They appreciate honesty and may reveal love early but hesitate to commit due to their desire for freedom and personal growth. Understanding their need for space helps clarify their mixed signals in relationships.

I am beyond confused.

Can anyone shed light on why an aqua man would tell you after 4 years he loves you (he said it first) and tell you that you are "it" for him and that he's known for a while but STILL won't commit? He said he sees all his friends that are in relationships and married and are miserable and does not want to be like them and that he is really enjoying his independence and traveling life style right now.

Ok I understand that. He was blunt with his reasons for not committing but then why express all these deep feelings to me if he is not ready to move forward?!

Confused bull here.

This is where I'm coming from.

I don't understand why he would talk about the future (having kids, getting married etc) when I never broached the subject. It's just one big tease. It's almost cruel. If you're not going to commit don't talk about this that and the other. Am I wrong in thinking like this?

He's expressing his love and appreciation for you, but is honest about his views on relationships.

His approach is fairly straightforward. Maybe what confuses you is your feelings towards him and what to do with this new information.

Do you feel the same way? Have you communicated to him that you are willing to commit, and are ready to move forward?
