White lies do say or make up stories?

Well I'm an aqua, I've got quite a few aqua friends also. I usually find we are open and honest but something is really bugging me about one of my aqua friends. So I woke up to a text this morning from a close aqua friend saying they had slept for 12 hours don't know why they needed to tell me this but I just said good for you guess your well rested for work today ?. I've just been texting another mutual friend asking what they did last night etc and they said messaging said aqua friend about this weekends plans all night I got sent screen shots of time and date stamps to prove that they were both awake. Now I was busy last night with family, my parents had just returned home from a trip away so had no need to message any of our friend group, I didn't get home till late last night. Question is do I confront friend about story telling and white lies?

I will add this is not the first time my aqua friend has lied about something trivial or made up a story for no reason. Really frustrating me why I'm the only one in our friend group being told these silly stories and lies, it didn't bother me before but it's happening so often now I'm curious to know why.

does it hurt you a lot when they tell you they slept a lot and then you saw them talking to other people instead??.

it seems that they don't care about you, or want to talk to you at all.

if you get that intuition and feeling just leave them be.

I didn't sleep much either. had to wake up early due to the noisey neighbors and make breakfast for my family.

but there was NO talking online to anyone, and now i'm having my cup of coffee, with noisey neighbors and the sound of hammers and drills. And reading the news and astrology.

No it doesn't hurt me a lot I couldn't care if they talked to our other mutual friend as we are all friends at the end of the day we are all going out for a friends birthday this weekend, what bugs me is that they said they slept for 12 hours when quite clearly they didn't and felt the need to lie to me for no reason I didn't even ask what they did last night, we text everyday and we are equal in contacting each other first.

Hmm its an interesting topic and I am going to venture a guess.

I guess this aqua is probably in their own zone or mind and told you what they did because they either have an issue with you they are trying to work out, or just doesn't know who to communicate with you about whatever it is they were talking to the other friend about.

The funny thing with Aqua's is that they hate liars, but I have found from experience with my ex that she did lie about a few minor things.

They are quite mentally jumpy in my opinion and can go from one extreme to another and we cant really understand it, or they just cant properly explain it.

If its a minor issue then I suggest let it go, I have learnt from being with my ex that sometimes, making a mountain out of a molehill is pointless. They don't like drama, but cant understand from their actions that sometimes they can cause it.

I would keep this in this the back of your mind and if they lie about something bigger in the future, address both points.

I have NO idea about your situation. I would just CONFRONT them.

asking us here is just kindof us trying to figure it out and it's gonna make my brain crazy.

Yeah we don't like drama or liars lol I will let it go for now it does just annoy me At the moment and I hope they don't lie or make up stories about something big if they did I would cut them off. I just don't see what's to gain from telling stories etc logic! lol

Yeah I know just trying to get some insight if it is an aqua thing or they are just an odd ball, I'm not a story teller and don't need to tell white lies so being an aqua it's just strange to me, I want to confront them but don't know if it's worth it, other stories they have made up include where they went on holiday, saying they went out for dinner someplace and they didn't etc. Thanks for your input don't want to make your head hurt lol

Naw it's entirely possible for one Aqua to not understand the actions of another Aqua. Granted the best way to understand an Aqua is to ask another Aqua (or that Aqua). You're right in thinking that they generally understand each other.

Yeah generally understand other aquas but this friend has me puzzled other aqua friends I just get lol lying is not something I come across with aquas I know

Apparently on average we are told 200 lies a day.

We tell 3 lies per every 10 mins of conversation..

Maybe he/she didn't mean that she slept that long the night before but at another time in general.

if someone asks me what did I do over the weekend of say something in general, like the highlight of the weekend or something that stands out..not the normal stuff. if you got sent screenshots and snaps I'm sure they know that you know so why lie?

my friends go out on their own too and I don't mind it because I'll tag along when I want to. If they exclude me From something it would be because they know I won't like it and I probably have better plans.. lol

I don't think it's a big deal.. my beat friend (cancer) lies a lot, to me, to her family to a lot of people but I have called her our on it many times that she knows I can tell when she's bullshitting and I just look at her and she knows I don't buy it and tells me the truth...some people just can't stop lying but it doesn't mean that they aren't your friends.. my friend lies to me when she knows that I won't like the truth, not bc of me but bc of her. ?

I confronted my friend about this and why I'm the only one that gets lied to.

Turns out she wanted to impress me because she has romantic feelings for me as she knows I'm attracted to weird and people that get my curiosity going, what she did got my curiosity going but not in that way.

I feel bad because I'm not gay I find her attractive but personally myself I like men. It was awkward at the party we all attended but I had a heart to heart with her and she understands you can't change who you are attracted to. I'm hoping the lying will cease now and we can get back to being good friends.

I'm going to go to a gay bar with her this weekend and be her wingman, I will find her a nice gal I've got good taste so I'm told ha ha!

So turns out us aquas can lie and it's not in a malice way, learn something new about us all the time lol

Or is this a serious lie she is telling? jk lol. But if a person lies once you need to be careful before believing anything they say. She might be saying the truth this time but just saying you need to be alert not to give in because they paid you a compliment. Did you know your friend was gay?

I know how you feel... one of my best friends growing up told me a few years ago that she has been in love with me for many years.. since we were 14.. now we are 29. All the time she jokes around when I talk about guys, she says if you were with me I'll make you happy.

I find it very sweet but I can't be gay, that's something you are born with I guess.

We live now in different countries but we always talk.

I'm sure is a healthy love, and make sure that her secret doesn't change anything between the two of you 🙂

And I can see why she was lying...it wasn't really lying, it was more like getting your attention.

she sounds harmless yes, but I wouldn't allow someone into my life like that until they get their shit together. (I mean be real you know?)
