Aries man at my workplace flirting because he likes me or just for fun?

Hey guys. 🙂 So I'm a bit confused lately about whether or not this Aries male I work with actually likes me or if he's just liking the idea of being liked (as is with a lot of Aries males and females). I am an Aries female as well and so both of our personalities at work are very similar and we hit it off almost immediately as far as conversation and interaction is concerned.

Okay so where I work the bosses are generally not concerned with us lower beings and usually only interact with us to see where we are at as far as projects, assignments and the like. So the first thing that I noticed was different with this man (also my boss at work) was that he would always wave to me and smile a lot. Then all of those gestures turned into actual interactions and conversations. One day in particular he had come up to me and caught my attention by telling me some work-related story (which most of the bosses wouldn't even think to share with anyone outside their inner circle albeit a pretty normal story) and then thanking me for making him forget he had work to do...

He's also always rewarding me for things at work that definitely don't warrant a reward... and that other coworkers are not recognized for either.

He's always joking with me and we both have the same sarcasm. We're pretty on par as far as our personalities are concerned. I just don't know if he's thinking what I'm thinking. I will literally not talk to him on purpose during my shift just so he doesn't think I'm too interested in him. And he does similar things like he won't talk to me when anyone is around or he makes a move at random moments when I least expect it.

I'm not sure if he's just not making a move because he's afraid he'll lose his job (him being my boss we wouldn't be able to work in the same location im pretty sure)? Or maybe he just doesn't want anyone to know? Or maybe he's just flirting with me and doesn't actually want it to lead anywhere?

We don't really have the chance to talk at work and I don't see him often as our schedules are opposite most of the time. But I HAVE worked with him for over a year now for sure so I'm not sure what's going on. I thought Aries were impatient, but this one seems like hes got all the time in the world.

Thoughts?

He must really like you so he is shy to make he first move. They are only confident and ounce when they don't really like the person and just wants a roll in the hay

I'm an Aries

Was raised by a male Aries and have dated quite a few male Aries myself.

I'm trying to figure out what clues there are to really determine if he does or doesn't want to explore our relationship further or not. We don't work together enough to know but I feel like there's definitely some tension between us when we do work together but that could just be me overthinking.

He's witty with a lot of people and sometimes i get the feeling he makes more of an effort to try and see me during work but then on the other hand I get the feeling he senses I like him and so he just takes advantage of that fact and plays along.

I can't tell and I'm an Aries myself. So frustrating. For me, I usually only play along if I am in fact attracted in some way or form.

Do you talk about personal things or is everything work related?

We've talked about outside related work things. I will go on break and he will stay and talk to me on his own accord ... about anything. Where he went to school. Where I went to school. We've established his and my dads fav sports team. He remembers things from weeks ago and brings them up in witty convo.

I know it sounds like I could easily say he liked me right off the bat just by all these signs but it's because he's an Aries and I know that an Aries has a tendency to flirt either way that I'm so confused. You know?

By outside related I mean things not relating to work lol

I agree he would tell me (I've dated an Aries before and they're very direct) but my concern is idk if he can actually tell me because he can't actually date me if we work in the same place. That's the rules. Aries break the rules. But I'm not sure if he'd be willing to do that ...

Aries are passionate af, l'm pretty sure he likes you. Try pushing the enveloppe a little bit..you'll see. Aries don't always go for what they want. Their game is to be flirty and funny with everyone and if they see a CLEAR sign that someone likes them, it's target located, permission to engage. But they won't choose on their own.

Usually he talks to me more so when it's just him and I and I've been in his office once before when it's just him in there and he didn't seem any different...idk if he would act different any way but I guess I half expected him to take advantage of the situation somehow. Nothing serious but idk something. Then again he could've been nervous. I know Aries to talk a big game and have their insecurities. Myself included.

Aries take their work very seriously...i do for once 🙂

Well..i am the #1 joker of the place..lool..but when its time to work...i expect nothing more then the absolute best.

I guess that..we (Aries) woldnt do anything that could compromise both of our situation when it comes to work.

I don't know..its a very tricky situation...and yes...Aries gets very nervous when arround the ones they like...

After all......we are just a silly Ram 🙂

Yea... haha I'm the jokester at my job too but when I start to take something seriously I REALLY take it serious. I should've realized that him and I both being Aries and all that he would be thinking the same thing. He's a jokester too so he's a great boss to work with/for. I guess I'm gonna have to ride this one out haha
