Question, say you had love for someone and things just didn’t end well blocked, No communication for almost a year. That person reaches out to you just to say hello, they obviously miss you. Do you respond or run?

Absolutely not.

I would be horrified.

Aries ghosted me. We were in long distance relationship for almost a year I even traveled to see him and it was an amazing time. He is a college student which college can be stressful. After a month of no contact he reached out to me. Told me what all was going on. We re added each other on Snapchat. He told me he had no time for love especially since he was on probation at his school. I was upset to why he just disappeared for a month when we talked daily. He could tell me anything. Why fold up when things got hard? I still very much loved him and he pretty much went back to just not talking to me again. sI blocked him on snap and went on with life. Was that a good solution? Probably not but I can admit when my ego is bruised. It was hard not talking to him, there isn’t a day I don’t think about him. I figure he’s moved on. He’s been on my mind heavy this month because his b day is coming on the 17th. Just unsure if I should give him a hbd shot out.

He was on academic probation in college.

I just can't believe the emotional vampirism required to act like that is not a major problem requiring his complete focus. Damn.

He might be alright now, sheeesh.

Yes academic probation is a huge deal.. but does it make it ok for someone to say eff you and just run off? That is cowardly. If I didn’t say anything to him he would of still been gone with no excuse.

Let’s say you responded and you two started chatting... the deep feelings you had will come rushing back. What do you then expect out of it all? To talk for a little while until he decides to suddenly disappear again? It’ll just be another cycle of you getting emotionally hurt. If you do decide to talk to him it should be with the knowledge he could make you feel hurt again. And if that’s what you accept it’s all on you.
