What are yours? I'm sun conjunct mercury in Aries, both in the third house. I'm always thinking, it drives me nuts sometimes.

Merc opposition moon and pluto, trine ascendant and neptune. 9th house, like most of my planets mercury is retrograde because of course it is. It's in Taurus which is good. I'm not. I can hear and analysise music, but I don't have musical memory. I can't hear a song on the radio and whistle it 30 seconds later. I can't really sing in tune.click to expand
Oh, okay, cool. Taurus energy is good at analyzing in general, and have good muscle memory for a lot of things. People with these placements have a knack for memorizing and consuming a lot of content...fixed sign specialty. Mercury in Taurus are really great in the biology field, and I noticed specifically in kinesiology. My merc in Aries (in the third) has always preferred physics/chem/math, probably why I played the piano growing up. I have no idea how/why I can sing tbh (from an astrological perspective), maybe because of the Venus in Taurus.

Merc in third house is ruled by Gemini. Geminis usually have good voices. Plus doesn't third house rule over the throat?click to expand

I can see that yes, in my experience, pisces mercury try to talk about a lot of related topics when talking about one main thing. The "storytelling" thing I was referring to was just personal experiences I've had...For e.g. one friend who has this combo will use a lot of analogies from prehistoric times and medieval times times to in order to relay what she means. I think it's because water mercuries in particular are "feelers" of people's thoughts.

Tbh, I don't know how to calculate the conjuctions, oppositions of sign, houses etc.
But I do know I'm a Sun Virgo with a Libra Mercury. It makes it extremely difficult for me to be direct and confrontational sometimes. Virgo is blunt, direct and straightforward when they want to be. But Libra wants to sweep things under the rug and run away from their problems lol
That's annoying to handle, cause it's a stressful mental self conflict at times. But I've been working on getting better at becoming more direct and confrontational without fear. It's part of my nature, but I can always do what I can to improve! ♥
