aries don't really hate whole heartedly (or if we do we don't seek revenge)

This clerk that works at my local United Dairy Farmers store has the same birthday as me but is a few years older, and is cool as hell. He's always enthusiastic and happy, pretty smart, speaks clearly, is decisive, but isn't overbearing or too commanding.

This other guy I know on the other hand shares my birthday and is a little older than me, but is a dumbass, dishonest, and a fucking bullshitter, not to mention a fatass grease ball. He can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. I don't hang with him much anymore, and he sounds like a woman whenever he calls me and asks me why we never hang anymore. Fuck him.

Anyway, other Aries seem to be hit or miss with me.

GF, apparantly they do themselves a lot, too .. maybe some even excessively so.

solitas .. very true, people like praise .. does this mean that is should be given even when it isn't warranted? To just boast, for the sake of stroking ones egos when there's nothing to boast about .. doesn't really mean much because it's not coming from sinceriety, rather just because a person wants to LOOK good .. looking good and being good isn't the same creature.

If a person shouts, "Look at me, ain't I wonderful," is it not then logical that the people will analyze the situation, or the person to see if they are indeed wonderful? Are they, just because they say so? To be wonderful, means that you ARE .. not just because you say so.

I can say I'm the most beautiful woman in the world, does that make me so?

Numerous times, I've said this in here to others and I'll say it again, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not the holder of the mirror."

To just boast and brag about wonderful qualities, that actually may NOT be within the person .. serves no purpose except to stroke ones ego. If compliments are given for the sole purpose of stroking ones ego .. then it's superficial because it isn't deserving of the person. That was my point ..

Cerainly, I know many wonderful Aries .. but, to be convinced that you are great soley because of your sun sign, and not because you actually are wonderful .. is vain and concieted .. being vain and concieted is NOT wonderful. To tell a person that they are, when in fact, they may not be .. is relaying superficial sentiments to the other.

Should I then say that I am great, I am above you in my evolution of the soul, I am more aware than you are, simply because I am Pisces? Of course not. I am only a great person IF it is true, my soul is only more evolved than yours, only IF it's true.

Giving false sentiment is just not something I condone because from my perspective the only benefit for the other person is an inflated ego .. and lords knows, we all have enough ego as it is without creating more chaos.

Actually, just from what I've gathered about you, you do seem like a really nice person .. so this isn't necessarily directed at you personally, rather just any and all people who are so clueless about themselves that the only way they can feel wonderful inside themselves is by convincing others that it is true because they said it was true.

You are what you live .. not what you claim.

Actually, solitas .. my post was talking to GM .. and the constant spray of just pure compliments without ever participating in conversation .. however, I do understand what you are saying .. in fact, my soul IS more evolved than yours for the same reason as you've stated above .. without any inspection from others .. it is because that is what I have become because I believe it to be so because I allow the progression within myself.

Anyway, like I said .. when I said, "too much splashing all over the boards of extreme goodness, seems a little superficial" .. I was referring to someone else.

Keep in mind, though, that how you percieve yourself, isn't necessarily how others view you .. to the person inside, this may seem like confidence, however, to the other to whom you are relating, this may seem like conciet.
