[horary] will i pursue my old/new path ( architecture) or will i come back to set design?

its been a long time🙂

Im back to ask one question.

Now Im feeling super excited because i am doing thinks i was doing befre 2015. They are connected to my studies, profession and are more business oriented.

As I have mentioned before in my previous threads in 2015 istarted doing something else also connected with Architecture but in an more artistic way- i started being involved in art exhibitions, set design, film and theare industry.

But not knowing almost anyone i needed to start from the beginning BY MY OWN.

I felt that ( that time) my 4 year - of Architecture Studies didnt mean anything to anyone because NOONE asks you what you study but how you can work on time pressure, how manual are you designing set design and etc.

I needed to forget about my ego, i needed to start from the beginning BEING on the 1st semester of master studies of Architecture at my university.

But those 2(1.5) year gave me the different perspective. I saw that architecture environment is very shallow in some way and very narrow. Everyone is almost the same. In the art/theatre industry/film environment i felt more open and people were more flexible , had different mindset, were more open minded when it comes to every type of art and creation. I

I had my ups and downs. now i can say i was not good enough to pursue it further.

I met a lot of people, i have also some deeper relations with people from that environment BUT

BUT i need to think more goal andfuture oriented.

I will be an architect who will NEED TO start working at some architecture studio.

After gaining more experience and money and being more focused on the work and bemore experienced in ONE STUDIO i will have an opportunity to make set design again.

I still receive emails and job offers of set design from film and theatre people. But i refuse because i wanna finish my studies and focus on my future now.



But i am wondering. If i will pursue this life path of an architect or will i somehow come back( maybe in a year or two) to set design, to film people, friends that I have met? ( YES LEO MAN).

I know that we will not meet untill i step again in the film industry. I know that.

He will not change himself and adapt to my profession.



So i am curious what does this chart say- will i pursue my new/old architecture path or will I change it again someday for set design, stage design?

I am curious because I actually was having fun working on film sets and meeting people. But on the other hand i was missing architecture and i was missing the time that maybe i should have spent on doing my archi projects..

But now when i am focused on diploa i miss film theatre industry. I know when i will come back i will have to be much more stronger and more professional. But WILL I COME BACK?



This is my question. Will i come back to set design, scenography or will i stick to my first choice - which was architecture?
