Astrologizing people

When you meet people, do you ask their birthday right away? Or do you wait things out and try to guess before hand?

I used to ask people their birthday when i first would meet them.. and then sort of judge them after that. Either take a huge interest in them or the opposite lol. Lately I haven't been doing it as much.. as I want to experiment with my connections with people before i find out their signs. Instead of judging right away. Plus I think if you don't let yourself feel the connection between people before finding out their sign, you could maybe be missing out on things.

I won't astrologize people I haven't known for a few months I've decided!

It's out of curiosity and to see if they match and a lot of the time they do! I would hang out with them then get a certain vibe, guess and I would be right! It's crazy.

Yeah i know! Right now i have a new job.. and secretly Im guessing, but I don't really want to find out until i have established a better connection with these people. But when I find out I hope i have some aha moments!

I try to finesse it out of them, I don't want to be seen as an astrological nut.

Birthdays are easy but then time and place gets tricky sometimes.

Haha! How do you finesse it out of them? Ive tried... once someone actually was like, "im a libra." They totally knew what I was doing.

We will defs report your findings if you go missing.. we will tell the auhorities of your famous taco stand.

I just ask directly. You'd be surprised at how far you can get by just being direct.

If I first meet someone and they hold my curiosity I will first guess if not correct I will ask. People I don't care to know anything about I wont bother asking.

Yeah exactly. I think I don't want to know anyone's sign until knowing them further. I don't want to be like, "well because you're a *insert zodiac sign here* I'm not interested in getting to know you. Or because I know their zodiac sign, I'll just pass off everything they do as their sign without really knowing THEM. Soooo yeah. I think its hindered me making meaningful relationships as of late.. so I'm done with it. Until atleast I know them a bit better.

Cause really without time of birth you can't find out much anyway can you? Most people do not know their time of birth.

I think you can.. like most placements, the moon might be a bit off, and the rising will be way off. But everything else will be there 🙂

I ask right away. I'm probably not going to be able to guess correctly and knowing a person's sign doesn't turn me away from getting to know them. I think "oh okay, let's see how well we get along" and that's it. My best work buddy is a Virgo. I've always thought virgos were kind of boring, but we clicked very easily and I don't subconsciously view her as boring. It's interesting to know someone's sign and I'll always ask, but I separate the person from their sign and can get to know people without astro biases. It's actually once I know someone for a year or so that I start associating their actions with astro placements.

Peopke lie about everything at FB. LoL. I catch old friends in birthday lies all the time and I don't understand why really.

To answer the OP's question, I never ask someone new their astrological sign. They may not be interested in astrology or worse, think it's all BS. This is why I can never participate in synasty questions cuz I really don't know another person's chart except for my family and closest friends.

I check their Facebook if they have one or just ask. I'll ask the time & place if I'm talking to them for a certain amount of time. Usually my friends are right on the money when it comes to what their birth charts say. For the most part at least. I try not to judge a person by just their sign. I'm not a judgemental person to begin with. It's kinda hard not to judge them by their chart. Lol

Same here. I check facebook first. After that I ask birthdate and age. It's more to see if my predictions are correct. And I have found a pattern.

I have acquaintences of all types, but all of my close friends have moon in Aquarius, Aries, Virgo, Taurus, or Cancer.

Romantically I attract: Moon in pisces, taurus, libra, aries, and scorpio. Venus in Sag, Taurus, Cancer, Leo and Libra. Mars in Scorpio, Taurus, Cap, Sag, and Leo.

This is my pattern and it always repeats.

Its fun to find out who you attract and who you're attracted to. I have a lot of venus and mars in gemini people going on around me... the only gemini in my chart is psyche and eros. So it makes me question psyche and eros validity. Didn't think much of them at first. I went really off topic. Lol. Sorry!

Most people think it BS. I used to just ask anyway. Because even though they think its crap, they'll still ask questions and be a little wee curious! 😛

No, I ask everyone what their Sign is. Don't care. And don't know why people think it's embarrassing. Never had a negative reaction asking for someone's sign.

Yeah I used to not really care either!! People find it interesting,even if they think its crap. I just want to develop real feelings and judgements before I subconsciously just put them in a box.

I like to know their sign right away. There are some signs I do not want to date. And there are other signs I definitely want to date.

I won't date an Aries because they are ego driven and insensitive, which is the complete opposite of me. I'm also very calm and laid back. Aries in my experience argue too much for me or get upset and don't control themselves easily.

I don't ask friends, it just comes out naturally. Boyfriends on the other hand, if I start to get attached I'll mention the birth stuff as a curiosity.

So you somehow believe ALL Aries from thereafter the bad apple will be the same? Astrology has crippled you. Sooner or later, you need to move on from past hurts. You can't make others pay the price, you may very well miss out on a pleasurable experience with an Aries. How do you know for sure all will be like what you mentioned? You don't. It's fear that's holding you back.

Sure, I've had a bad experience before. I'm not saying they are all like that. But I don't want to waste my time. I don't date a lot of people because i have a lot of deal breakers that aren't related to astrology. Call me picky!! I'm actually dating someone. 5 months. Longest in five years lol

I get what you're trying to say but if I may add something...

Sometimes we assume, libra sun will oppose Aries sun or square Cancer and Capricorn automatically causing *basic* stereotypes to appear however, you can't always judge these kinds of things because in the charts depending on the degree of both of your planets they might not aspect at all, or have a soft aspect. The opposite goes for planets that are supposed to sextile or trine or conjunct they don't always.

In case I'm being confusing,

Example: Mars Leo Square Mars Aries, Sun Libra no aspect to Libra Sun, Mars in Leo conjunct Mar in Cancer! These all happened to me and other people in synastry and normally we'd think they wouldn't but it all depends. So the basic who gets along/who doesn't get along stuff doesn't apply anymore.

Bottom line, I know it's easy to stereotype, but keep an open mind. It's all about how the energies manifest when they touch your chart. Not only their planets the signs are in, and definitely not on the sun alone.

But why complicate things? Life is already complicated. You don't sound grounded in your likes/dislikes yet. Perhaps you're still trying to figure out your dislikes. There's people that say "I'm picky" and then those who say "I know what I want". Usually those who are picky don't really know what they want.

I'm happy! I love my life and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. No problems here! I'm going to keep doing what makes me happy. So think Whatever you want about me. Doesn't affect me at all 🙂

No one was trying to "affect" you. What will happen when you run into other sun signs with the qualities you dislike in Aries (you met). What will you be, some lonely cat lady who doesn't date at all because you're afraid everyone else will treat you the same. It's a vicious. Will you write them off your list too? Who will be left. That's just what it seems like. Hopefully you see my point.

I actually LOVE being single. So i really wouldn't mind being a cat lady! But I'm dating someone who has the qualities I've been looking for. He was worth the wait!

I try to observe and observe and try to guess their sign.. I don't ask right away, infact I will never ask until that time when asking seems natural or within a context. :p
