Leo Regulus for me (my moon sign is at a critical degree - Leo moon at 29 degrees)
According to google:
"Royal Star Regulus (in Leo) = Known as the "Kingmaker," a triple star associated with royalty and high position, ambition, power, fame, dignity and courage. Indicates one who can be trusted and reliable, wise, understanding, kind and intelligent leadership. Can be arrogant, self-absorbed, demanding, revengeful"
?
God I love myself.

Posted by tizianiPosted by CopperDoveI remember the South Scale being pretty grim. It comes just at the end of the "Via Combusta" which is meant to be a path from 15 degs Libra to 15 degs Scorpio where everything that could give life is burnt to a cinder lol
@tiziani
Ah, from the fatalistic site I get this for my 21 degree Scorpio sun:
UNUKALHAI - [21 degrees of Scorpio]
This star indicates a loss in some area, both natally and in prediction. This loss is not always negative in prediction. There can be perversions, a lack of self-control and a danger of poisons. The personality can be crude and vulgar.
And this for my 15 degree Scorpio Venus:
SOUTH SCALE - [14 degrees of Scorpio]
This star can bring troubles, as it is conjunct 15 degrees. There can be physical anomalies and/or serous health problems. It has a reputation for making one susceptible to poisoning.
Two mentions of poisons being a potential problem for me! Maybe I need a praegustator. Putin has one, apparently.
But these were interps written a long, long time ago and that's probably why astrologers shy away from using them. They can be brutal and straightforward (as opposed to the modern stuff which is deliberately written to be open-ended and agreeable). A lot of them cannot be interpreted literally given how we live in the 21st century. We have penicillin now lol
But I was going to ask you about something related to this, I was thinking about it today. I just hadn't figured out how to word it yet.

Posted by MontgomeryMy mistake. I should've said dark stars. Right?
All stars are *fixed* stars.
The planets used to be called wandering stars--
I wonder if thats how the differentiation came
about... interesting thread, @Season.

Posted by tizianiI'm eagerly waiting. I find the dark star info interesting even if negative because there must have been some foundation for the ancients to make these prognostications?Posted by CopperDoveI remember the South Scale being pretty grim. Posted by KoniuchaaHave you found any of this to be true in your life?
I have this
Moon conjunct Procyon: Occult interests, restless, never remains long in one place, quarrels with friends, partners and employers. If at the same time the Sun and Mars be with Deneb Adige or Vega, above the earth, death from the bite of a mad dog. [3]

Posted by tizianiYou believe Antares is worse than Algol? It's hard to choose between them which is worst.Posted by yupvirgoo
@tiziani
I only found these 2 for mine.
HAMAL - [6 Degrees of Taurus]
There is a need for personal independence. These people often have a strong will, and dislike authority. This placement gives independent thought and leadership ability. In some cases, there can be cruelty and premeditated crime.
0 -1 of Libra oftentimes signifies the beginning of a relationship in predictive astrology.
it sounds bad right?
All in all that actually sounds OK lol
You should read the ones near Antares in Scorp and Sag. That is the angriest part of the zodiac.

Is this really rare or does it just seem so because not many people talk about fixed star astrology. Astrologers seem to feel it's extraneous info and don't bother with it much but it is interesting if it's in your own chart or the chart of someone close to you.
Do you have a fixed/dark star placement in your chart or know someone close to you who does? How do you feel about it? Do you get along well with this person?
