How do you interpret the 8th and the 12th house? the most complex ones
Hell and heller. 8th is where you get abuse, or long term relations that asphyxiate you.
12th is where you feel like you're lost in the vast world and going insane, and need rehab or prison to get you back on track.

Hm I'm Aquarius in the 8th and Gemini in the 12th so mutable air.
Gemini and Aquarius both in these houses make me shy and nervous, so when someone or a conversation comes about I often listen then talk. I got to make sure what I say is sound. If not it just slurs out and fast. It can be hard sometimes.

Would either of these houses have anything to do with having a lot of deaths near you? I don't have anything in the 8th, and my 12th has a beautifully aspected Venus, but my childhood was full of early deaths of relatives.
This is interesting. I read that 8th house people tend to attract people who have a lot of problems in their life because 8th house people are like healers. They know what the darkness is like and can heal people in various ways. With their wisdom of life.
I've read that scorpio moons or 8th house moons are more likely to lose a mother early in their life. It happened to me which freaked me out. My siblings all have something in the 8th or a scorpio moon.
But I don't think it has to be physical death. It can also be spiritual termination, the death of the old you, the death of habits because it's so much deeper. It is also about rebirth which makes the 8th house so much more interesting.
They may think about death a lot especially as a kid. It's an obsessive thought. I don't think they will necessarily have a lot of deaths near them. Maybe certain planets in the 8th? Not entirely sure.

Good to see that you think this way, most of the people think about death only as a physical one. The death of the 8th house is about destroying the old to create the new.
I have a Scorpio moon and a packed 8th house, I don't have a close relationship with both of my parents but I have a closest with my mother but I can say that she just knows if im fine or not, she doesnt know the details.

Then it's "ruler of 8th is in (jupiter in your chart)" etc...
I bought the ebook where there's all these descriptions.

Good planets are always good, like moon 8th you might get lucky in matters of death, like inheritance....you shine in hospitals or prisons, like a happy nurse or warden...

Lost in the vast world, sure. Sometimes.
Insane? Nope. Rehab? Don't do drugs (except caffeine and nicotine) and I barely drink.
