Well I do place more importance in - or at least search for - some sort of depth in anyone I undertake no matter how superficial. It's hard for me not to form some sort of bond if we've been intimate, but still, even in relationships it does take tuning between channels to pull off combining sex and emotions as the two are seperate animals for me.

More often than not one night stands are just about getting yourself off, similar to masturbating. But often lack the chemisty that takes it to the next level.

I think it really varies by person. Unfortunately, if you're hanging out with people with a different mindset than yours, you're the one who always ends up "catching feelings" and feeling stupid. I ran a synastry report once on a lover/ best friend of mine - (scorpio sun scorpio mars) . One of those 30 page thingies for $ 10 or whatever. The report said that ALL he was going to talk about with me was sex. Something in our synastry combined with who he is astrologically meant the constant sex talk would actually start to wear on me. Lovers are where its at when youre not ready for a relationship. Its like a lab partner. You get to practice and learn and experiment. But really great sex comes when you are so comfortable in your own skin, and truly know who you are that you can become completely uninhibited and at the same time share that with someone you have a relationship of trust and affection with.
