I relate to the boredom part, which is why I tend to really like people who have a great sense of humour and possibly people who are intriguing. The hanging out or dates does not have to be physical. If the other person is funny, I don't think I will get bored. I don't really compete with others, only really with myself.

The Venus Aries man loves hard and plays hard. He's a burning flame that goes out as suddenly as it flares up.
He rushes in and leaves a trail of broken hearts. He's an ex that never looks back -- he grieves hard and then moves on ....later that day.
Choice Words: playful, confident, virile, protective, urgent and brave in love, creative, courageous, romantic, energizing to be around, truthful, self-directed. Shadow Side: a player, possessive, impulsive, selfish, misses subtlety in emotional exchanges.
A Player
I hate stereotypes in astrology as much as anyone. But where does astrological typecasting come from? Experience and observation, swapping stories.
So what's the scoop on the Venus Aries love style ?
He's flat out inspiring. He's the knight in shining armor, and surprisingly romantic. He never lets his loved ones rest on their laurels. He encourages the timider among us to go for it! Whatever and whomever he loves, he brings a single-minded focus to bear. He's a whole lot of fun, long after others have gone home.
First out of the Gate
A Venus in Aries man is impulsive, but sensitive hearts should take note -- he's not always able or willing to finish what he's started! The thrill of the beginning gives him a rush. If you see long term potential here, it's up to you to set a pace. Don't let him gobble you up in one sitting! Keep him wanting more, as you build up a solid bond.
For fire signs like him, active dates are best. He expresses his joy in a very physical way. He's attracted to strong-willed partners who are as direct as he is. He's revved by clashes -- they make him feel alive and even close to the other person. The tension in a relationship is what keeps him interested.
Venus as Fighter
He's a big tease and loves to get a rise out of his friends or lovers. One Venus Aries man I know is driven to be locked in contentious conversation, which drives his ex-crazy when they meet. "He's always provoking me," she says.
On the sunny side, this instinct for the fight keeps love from stagnating. He's attracted to the woman who stands up to him, and meets him head-on! His feminine ideal is the now version of the Amazon -- physically strong, street smart and self-assured. He admires a self-starter with a passion for what she does in life. A lusty libido is a must.

Accurate enough aside from a few too many generalizations. And Jed is no Amazon. Male version, maybe.click to expand

Personally, I dislike even being an Aries sun myself, I think its great to have fun or one night stand but for long term its so consuming...You need to keep the fire alive or it won't take too much time until you see your love looking around.
Men who are looking for feminine women should runaway as fast as possible, you won't find all that love with an Venus in Aries.
It's a bit misogynist but I don't like to see a woman acting like a man or being friends with males... I want to do manly shit with my pals not with my girlfriend, I want her to provide the soft lovely caring side maybe thats my Venus in Taurus talking
I would say that Venus in Aries woman get along better with feminine man because in this situation she can expose the Mars energy in her.

I have this placement and I don't resonate with it at all.
The only thing I do relate to is not being shy of being flirty or giving a genuine compliment. But oh god, if it's someone I'm actually super into, I get super nervous.

I don’t know about you ex but I am super feminine. Maybe it’s the combo with my Pisces ,Taurus and libra bits. I get very well with guys but I never try to be one of them.
I disagree completely with you on getting along better with a feminine guy. That is completely a turn off for me. I need a very masculine guy that can handle my energy without me being able to walk all over him.click to expand

I relate to it, but I think I would feel it even more and outwardly act more like an Aries Venus if I had more Aries or other fire placements. I do have Leo ascendant but other than that I don’t have any other planets in fire signs, and my sun, Mercury, and Mars are in water, with my moon in Virgo, and I think those tend to keep the Venus in Aries in check a lot of the time, but I still feel it inwardly and it still breaks out sometimes lol
But yeah, I definitely relate to the impulsiveness a lot lol. And Aries Venus does seem to burn really hot but can cool off and get bored seemingly out of nowhere too. One thing you wrote that I never really realized was the tendency to provoke and challenge, but it makes sense and I see it now

I am a quarter fire but this one stands out. It makes me impulsive and playful mostly.
I don’t provoke but I do challenge people so I don’t get bored.
Yeah, and when I say “provoke” I don’t mean in a mean or hurtful way, and not just for the sake of provoking usually. But it’s more in a playful way or being less likely to avoid confronting or challenging something even though you know it might get a certain reaction. But I still pick my battles, I don’t do it over everything lolclick to expand

I have Venus in Aries. I love it because my Pisces sun and moon make me reserved, but since I have Aries im not shy in the flirting department. I’ve never been afraid to go after who I want. I get turned off if someone shows me interest first or comes on too strong.

Venus in Aries women are at home with men, and may even prefer their company. Her Venus is Mars-ruled, adding raw spice to her everything nice. She's the one with many men friends. That doesn't mean she's not feminine. Oh no. She's a fiery brand of feminine, that's direct and forceful.
Some with this Venus have typically male interests. She finds meaning in life (Venus) through active, head-on challenges ( Aries). She's vivacious and overt with her sexuality. A twist is when you discover she's a competitive kickboxer or has a death-defying bucket list. If you're the adventurous type, she's for you!
She desires to fall for someone that's his own man. She's attracted to Aries traits of courage to take risks and confidence. A cocksure male with a bit of swagger and hint of the fighter is for her. She finds it pleasurable to test her own mettle against another. She'll need a mate that's willing to give as good as he gets.
What Venus Aries Women Are Looking For
The rush of new love. Sometimes she's easily bored after the initial excitement.
The thrill of being at the edge. She's not looking for balance — for her, being tilted forward into new experiences is where she's at home.
A take-charge mate. She's an initiator in love but will appreciate a lover with bold moves.
Friction. Her creativity thrives in an atmosphere of provocation. She's not daunted by arguments, on the contrary, she comes alive in a vigorous debate.
Competition. She's keen to win. Sometimes this is playful and endearing — other times, it's relentless, aggressive, or tiring.
Go-Getter
Aries is a cardinal sign, meaning she goes after what she wants! It's the first dash out of the gate, and that's the energy she brings to love, with Venus here. As a lover, she's the spirit of Spring!
Keeping her interest means providing that level of charge. That means being quick on the draw, with fresh ideas and suggestions of things to do together. She enjoys dates that are physically active, over a passive night at the cinema.
She'll stay piqued by someone with their own irons in the fire. Perhaps it's best not to be too available, to promote your image as someone with a full life. This also gives her a chance to play the role of the huntress.
She'll lose interest if you unload your insecurities too soon. We all have them, but her way is to "act as if" and face fears like a charging ram. She's allured by those with a similar brave face, even when she senses the vulnerability underneath. She's more likely to admire those who act in the face of fear. And it's better to demonstrate this, than talk about it.
Her love style is sometimes at odds with the ideal of womanhood. That's why a Venus Aries woman really shines, with someone who "gets" that she's brash and a real spitfire but also desires to open her heart to someone she trusts. It takes a man (or person) that's sure of his masculinity, to embrace these traits, and to make her feel womanly.
