Because the 1st house isn't about anything especifically, its about personality and how the people perceive you. You dont get Aries energy by having a sun in the 1st house unless you have a lot of placements in Aries.

Im an Aries with Mars in the 1st house, Im very picky and have high standards, Aries believe that they diserves the best in everything because they are the best in everything (in their head) or they are trying to become the best but only in the things they care about.
So, considering that they will be attracted to anything that they find worthy, you will say " but everybody is like this " but an Aries will make pursuit this goal/target with all they energy and willpower.
