This is why retrograde is considered an accidental debility in traditional astrology. I have a Mercury in Gemini and I don't consider myself a fast thinker or very communicative, and there is a partile square to my Mars.

Stationary planets are powerful indeed, the energy is way more focused. IQ tends to drop with age in most cases.

And no, Jupiter does not make a person "lazy when it comes to study" - it can be effortless - because they have yearning for knowledge - but they do the work (they walk the extra miles).

It started as a hobby; teaching languages is something I've always loved to do, probably as much as learning them.
