Why are women called sluts and men aren't

Why is a woman a slut if she experiments with sex, and loves her life enjoying having sex with different people...but a guy isn't?
What makes it different?
We're animals, yet human women are the ONLY thing labeled as sluts, so why is this?

All I can think of is because guys are immature babies, and power hungry, and the thought of them not having full control of their women (back in the old times) made them all butthurt so they made us a derogatory item. Our boobs are derogatory, that's why we can't breastfeed in public, our sexual life is derogatory, it's so fucked up.
Not it lingers, and women are called sluts and whores because men were immature.

Because of historical and cultural reasons. Women were financially dependent on men back in the day, so the social rules were dictated by them.

Society. Specifically America was founded on Puritan roots and no matter how hard they try to fight and say that there is a separation of church and state, there really isnt. So the belief is that you have to be pure to be considered righteous and worthy. Its bull. Although I can count all my partners on one hand, Im not going to slut shame someone who is more open sexually and freely. Hopefully more minds change as the older generation dies off.

I know it's sad to say but you can't be a "man slut" if you're not skilled, while you can be a "woman slut" even if you're not.

This is why there's a difference in the perception of the two genders, even though they're both sleeping around.

no they judge based on the consequences of your actions. if you are a slut, you are more likely to carry diseases.

If a person whores around in an unsafe manner...you can't call them a "slut" anymore, even if they clearly are. We have to be PC about it.

We're not talking about things that can't be controlled like race or sexual identity or gender.

We're talking about concious, unwise behavior and choices.

But we have to coddle people so their feelings don't get hurt.

I have a book from N on women. Sometimes it reads as rational. Sometimes it reads as anti-women. Sometimes he is praising women. That got me confused and tired. I said to myself, read it later again. But what I have heard other people say about him was that he'd been misogynist. Now you see how superficial opinions make rounds.

Anytime someone wants to hurt you it means they are belittled by how little affect their actions or lives have on you. How little you care. They call you a slut to try and make you care. Some random men feel unimportant to the world or to women. This is what they do.

The problem also lies within the English language and their need to specify the gender because they're too lazy using inflections.

A language can't be considered refined when you're forced to underline whether your friend is a 'male' or 'female'.
