I've sent nice stuff before, nothing mushy, nothing to indicate I'd like a relationship with him again, just nice stuff, positive stuff, because he's a stress-head and likes the support.

NZAqua's intentions does not sound like insensitivity at all. The biggest misconception people have about Aquas? Our so-called emotional detachment. We place a high value on friendship. We do not abandon them. We support them. If she simply dismissed his juvenile retaliation, then the stereotypes of an Aqua would have been thrown in her face. Full Blown. Are we blunt? Of course we are. But it's because we are here to help you. Only a true friend will do that. Give you a dose of reality to get you out of your sulking, self-pitying ways. We're not going to trash talk you behind your back. We will say it to your face. The first ones to say it.

Second, change your approach and you will see a whole other side. Aquas are natively stubborn and make Cappys look like the most flexible of people 🙂 You need to include compromise in your vocabulary. You have spent two pages countering Mr. Crabby without HEARING what he's saying. He made his point in the very beginning: You are not sensitive enough to his (girl)friend. Instead of throwing insults back at him: PROVE HIM WRONG. Then you'll see him come out of his shell. If you are not willing, then, expect this to continue. This is how he is. You are how you are. He is how he is.

If he was able to back his opinions, I would have left it alone. It's Ok for Mr. crabby to be insulting, but everyone else is supposed to be immuned to his rude comments? Lets try not to offend the poor cancer. I heard what he has to say. It'a nothing but insults from an emty-headed shell with no founded argument, just useless condescending crap to belittle women. I'm over this.

i have had the same experience NZ...as soon as you express the emotional side of yourself, they shell up. even a sweet dreams text has gotten me the no response. it irks me because how the heck am i supposed to gently express my emotions if he's just gonna run? why is it ok for them to say the mushy sweet stuff, but when we do it's like a deer in headlights? HELP crabs...we need some guidance here!

I totally agree this is very confusing behavior! grrr
