Oh, this is a good one. I never take anything at face value, for I think everything said has an emotion behind it. At least for me (cancer) it does. A virgo x once sent me a "mushy' email, and when I called him on it, he said = just take it at face value, don't read anyhthing into it, which I wanted to choke him, for I think he's hiding and possibly denying true feelings, for me as a cancer I thrive on that. I don't know how to handle "at face value" remarks and statements, when they emotional overtones. Can you help me cj7 or phoenix? Although connected well with the virgo,
(however, it must be a non emotional relationship with them), connect better with a scorp, and even Tuaurus, for sometimes thay are too direct and black and white for me.
I love scorps emotional and passionate side - I feel safe and secure with them.

wow, floater you are so much like me, it drives me INSANE when someone tells me to "just take it for what it is" or whatever. I ALWAYS consider reading between the lines of what people say. But sometimes it can make me dizzy with confusion, because I analyze and dissect and wonder what they really meant....I'm ALWAYS wondering. How can we stop this madness? lol

Oh phoenix, I do the same thing, where I have just exhausted myself. I analyze everything if I am not clear on stuff, especially in relationships. It's not healthy. I've learned to speak up - or to please clarify things. If I get a "take it face value" repsonse, then my relationship with that person becomes everything but a deep nature, and I pull back on the energy I put into it, for I feel something is NOT being said, good or bad, I want to know!
