So I have known this guy for 2 years and met him only once for a hook up. First, we got really close texting and messaging. I kept on trying to get him on date and one night he just randomly wanted to come over. After a month of waiting him to ask me out, I had had enough, I had started doubting if the sex was rubbish as he didn't even come back for that. Eventually, I cut it off although I really cared for him and would have wanted to try.

I got in to a relationship with a taurus guy, it lasted a year. Day after my breakup he messaged me saying he was sorry for the way he had treated me and told me that I looked great in a photo he had seen. We started talking. I have been carefully opening up to him at times about my break up but not letting it control the conversation. I really enjoy talking to him but I am scared he is doing the same again. He organised to come and pick me up last weekend. He was even making an effort to tell me sweet things in my native language he doesn't speak. Very charming and caring man! However, he cancelled the date just an hour before because he had been sick. He was very apologetic about it and suggested meeting the next day. I stayed cool about it saying we are not in a hurry and that he might not even be better the next day. Surprise surprise, nothing happened the next day either.

I've kept on chatting to him trying not to expect a thing but I am getting frustrated. I give him a little cue about sex being better with someone you truly care for and he went quiet for a long while and has been slightly distant since. Is there anything I can do to get this cancer man to act? He clearly finds me attractive and we have loads in common. I don't understand what is holding him back. I know it is probably too soon for me to jump on new relationship but I feel like he has always been in the back of my mind.

The Cancers that I know have been drawn in by comedy & your tolerance for their incoherent random ramblings.

Gotta remember, Cancers are evolved Geminis. That's why love for comics & roleplaying is quite common amongst them.

Most likely he just doesn't want a relationship with you, or he's in a relationship with someone else.

forget him and his bullshit. if he wanted you, he make the effort to be with you. It'll be best if you just move one now, rather then holding onto hope any longer. you'll just become more hurt.

You wanna know how to catch a Cancer (at least, a low frequency one)? You stop trying to catch them.

Little known fact: Cancers love the chase. It's annoying, but it's true. It's their job to do the clinging, that's what they do. If you take that away from them, they'll move onto someone else who doesn't want them that much (lol).

As a cancer, I find myself wanting the guys who don't want me. But as soon as he wants me, I don't want him anymore. So then he backs away and I want him again. Sometimes this turns into a doomed cycle. i feel bad for the guys I've dated the last several years....

I didn't know we are evolved Geminis...

Isn't that how it goes? Saying that the zodiac is like a spectrum with the sun gliding through each sign. That's why we have cusps, otherwise the edges would be clear-cut.

Same way Virgos are evolved Leos, which is why you'll often see Virgos with a theatrical flair. Because Virgos can be really into roleplaying, anything that involves them taking on a different character to themselves.

Hmm what "catches" me is I have to feel a certain pull toward the guy emotionally... he needs to have either strong Cancer or Scorpio in his chart. OP do you have these placements in your chart?
