I can't afford to be patient. That is not fear. That is biological reality. I have spoken to a dr who said I really need to do it in the next couple or years or it will be very difficult or even impossible.
I HAVE to have kids. I do. ....i cry about it.

But i want it so much.
And it's such an...emotional want...hard to explain.
I just feel i don't know how to make it happen. And it scares me. Because i HAVE to have them..whereas in the past i didn't. THere was safety in that.

My mind is not confident of being able to fulfill my heart. And I am not the type who thinks love fixes everything. I know people who met their one and it doesn't fix them.
It's like this problem...matters to no one. My mother got married when she was 21...so i feel she doesn't get it. But she regrets it doing it so young. Which i understand. It's just i feel no one empathizes or sympathizes.
Or they just think i would be a shit mom. But I know in my heart i would not be.
And I have lost the safety of not needing kids now.

I am actually cynical of my falling in love right now. My expectations of 'love' are high. Not in terms of lists..but what it should feel like.
Who knows if the guy i fall for would even want children.
Truly deep down I don't think I will find love or have children. And I am afraid of the powerful emotions I will have to face. And having to face that existence. I don't think i am strong enough.

BlondeAmbition, you seem like a very grounded, practical woman, but you have some misconceptions about this process for sure.
1st of all, you need to redefine what love actually means, and quit looking for Mr. Perfect, 'knight in shining armour'. That's fairy tale stuff. You will need to accept some imperfection in your relationships. Love can grow.
2nd of all, 34 too young for kids - OMG - get real girl. You have A LOT of biological time, unless there are physical issues you aren't stating.
I am soooo not practical!
