I feel it all depends who you're being rude to. If it's a person who deserves it then perfect. Better then snapping at work I guess. Or googling something along the lines of most effective place to shoot yourself.
I know two wrongs don't make a right, and I know being a dick even to a person who might truly deserve it is immature. But fuck it, especially if it's masculine naked men thrusting behind @Finbuff.
Depends on which rude situation. Sometimes people read the problem, read the responses, and then read how the OP really doesn't want any of the good advice given but keeps making excuses, only wants validation, so people get fed up with it. Other times there are those who can't handle people not validating their opinion, or who hate being called out on something, like bigotry, and they go on a verbal rampage to whoever dares to not agree with them. And then there's some who just troll, who think it's funny to randomly tell people to kill themselves, etc.
I hear u ive seen ppl b called names thats not nice lol i hear u @moonartist ppl b so sensitive and snap its just dxp all comments r welcome but being rude name calling belittle ppl its like they need a hug or something why r u angry lol.
Being rude and insulting is their advise. Some seem to think that's being real. Lol whatever. Why kick a man when he's down, tho? 9 times out of 10 they're the saddest people in this cold world. Afraid of being vulnerable so they lose so many times... opportunities to great love, friendships, and healthy growth.
There are the biggest jokes on here with their judgmental perspectives.

My list:
1. Honest questions don't deserve rude answers. Typically I haven't seen it here (rudeness to an honest question) and I would attempt to be respectful to the OP.
2.. OP (original post/poster) isn't really asking a question in good faith, but is seeking validation. Moonartist mentioned that type of poster. Generally best not to respond.
3.. OP phrases a statement in the form of a question. This is usually derogatory in some sense. Usually not worth responding to, since its either trolling or the OP has issues that he/she is projecting
4. There are a couple of characters that frequent this board that cannot show basic courtesy. Those from my perspective do not deserve respect.

Are you new? DXP mainly consists of trolls and people who's lives are so miserable that they come on here and take out their aggression on others. There's no talking sense to most of those people.
Actually no, the stuff that has been going on recently is new.. ya, in the past people would get upset, lash out at others, then it would be over. The level of blantant snarkiness and rudeness is at an entirely differnet level and it's been within the last 6 months.. heck even the past month it has gronw by 1000. I dont get how all these newer users ( sorry but thats who i see it mostly from ) think this is acceptable. Not saying older users aren't part of the stuff going on but TBH the number of new users involved is outrageous.
My meaning of Trolls here= people intentionally being rude/crass/antagonistic just because they get a sick thrill from it. There are the troll accounts.. but we won't go there.. LOL

However, the one thing I don't fully agree with is that the trolling is mostly from new users. Most of the people who have been unnecessarily rude, disrespectful, and provoking towards me are users who have been on here for years. I have also noticed a lot of new users coming on even in the very short time I've been here, but many of the rudeness is coming from seasoned DXPers.

It's a mix of old and new users. However the more aggressive types have been very recent. I know my views may not be the same as others or yours, it's my opinion, which will be different.
Something I was taught by my grandmother- if I am getting a negative reaction or response all the time, I need to look within to see if I am part of the problem. People can take that and apply it or not.
Dxp is not for the faint of heart and thin skinned! Lol
I may be biased though- so take my comments with that in mind 🙂 I'm one of the older users that gets fed up seeing the same threads wash, rinse, repeat and we have a search function, yet people get lazzzzy Lolol
I have had my moments of blunt, direct comments/opinions/advise and it isn't well received all the time 🙂

i agree with you, same happened to me
This website is very similar to being in high school. You have the bullies(trolls), the popular kids(the users who are shown favoritism), the cliques, etc. I feel like when you're a new user a lot of the seasoned DXPers (seniors) like to pick on and test the newer users (freshman). Many people here are extremely childish. Now I won't be a hypocrite and say that I've never stooped to their level and argued or said childish things back, but on a normal basis that's not how I conduct myself. On or offline. I'm very laid back and respectful until you disrespect me or test me. Which a lot of the seasoned users (the high school seniors) like to do on here. A good war of the words every now and again keeps things spicy I suppose, but it happens way too often on here. At least since I've been here.

Reading some of the response from ppl why do ppl get an attitude and be rude? We all r strangers so im curious to know why some ppl response r intense and rude? Lol i give my opinion and dont take it personal. But why the anger and name calling its unnecessary lol. Im sure some ofnus r dumb in love and we know it but its courtesy to respect ppl and not call ppl names and yet or upset whats the deal lol.
