He might be getting the aloof vibes off you and mirroring. It obviously sounds like he's very interested in you. With Cancer, when they've been hurt in the past, they crawl into their shell and take a little to time to trust again and they don't want to rush in if that way has ended badly before. Yeah. I agree. Cancer men pretend to be friends to you and do tons for you then kick you to the curb and switch it up once they have you and get tired of doing a lot for you. There’s no continuous follow through. They will treat you like crap if they think they’ve bent over backwards with no rewards lol.
I’ve never been attracted to them and they usually show their true colors with me cause I don’t give in to their sweetness or gifts. They are similar to Scorpio men and can be vicious.

I know that moon/mars/venus combo, is a tricky thing, venus virgo is slow af it will take eons before he feel ready to take the step by himself, he will need a push to move things forward.
