LIL, I need some advice! How bout this...
The only people at work that I refuse to let push me around are my biggest allies. Should I quit while I'm ahead before I burn bridges?
Ok, but it won't be irritable or mean...I've had 3 servings of cough syrup, 2 hefty pain killers, and a good nap in a blazing hot bath.
Why in the living hell would you let anyone push you around? It's a waste of time to base yourself on what others want.
If they are your biggest allies, why are they trying to push your hand? Are you perceiving their intentions correctly? Maybe they aim to help rather than manipulate you to their liking?
If you are standing up for yourself, don't stop. If you're using your work friends' to set an example for everyone else, stop...you always need the people that are on your side. It's lonely being alone, imagine that.
