Are Capricorn unemotional or is this a cliche

Are Capricorns esspecially woman unemotional or are they just guarding themselves? I understand

that they think very strategically and tend to detach a lot even when it comes to Love.

They also seem to be very aware of that because many caps are drawn to water signs, esspecially pisces.

Is this a defense mechanism, reinforced by a predisposition for objective thinking and therefore detachment? I guess somebody needs to be very loving and persistent to make a hole in your walls?

I ve met a cap girl we had insane chemistry ( I am a taurus), but I love my Aries hubby, so I didnt let anything happen. But I am still pondering this. We would ve hit it off big time, if only her lack of emotion and lack of

feminity would ve been a dealbreaker. So I friendzoned her.

They are emotional just hide it to protect themselves.

total BS. The caps I know are very caring and emotional. They make it known and speak up to about it. Never understood this stereotype.

Very controlled and guarded ... definitely. Emotions would depend greatly on the Cap's moon sign and the balance of elements in the natal chart. I have a Moon in Capricorn, which is widely regarded as pretty cold, but I also have a water dominant chart so .... very emotional, yet still controlled.

I'm Pisces dominant and have moon semi square neptune which gives a degree of oversensitivity but Cap sun/mercury/rising and Saturn in 4th house neutralizes that

What about expressing anger, affection, joy,love, sympathy instead of logic? I know men get programmed to associate showing emotions with showing weakness, but showing emotion is so much more.

That is why I love Irish Men. They are raw passionate aggressive Warriors who can blow up and cry withoutr coming across as pussies. They dont show weakness either, they roar.

It's not true. Every Cap person is different. Cap and Aqua both get a lot of flack for not showing emotion. People are dumb and think if you don't cry in front of everyone or are calm and composed you lack emotions. Wrong wrong wrong. They are just tsunderes, meaning cold on the outside warm on the inside. I wish people would stop thinking these signs are cold hearted. Unfortunately someone like Hitler who was a Capricorn moon gives Caps a bad rap but you got to look at the whole chart. Every Cap moon is different in my opinion.

Yes to this. All the Caps and Aquas I know feel very deeply. They don’t show it or lose control of there emotions as often. But it’s definitely a cliche to say they’re unemotional.

Well in that case of if they express emotions, then probably no. As an Aqua moon I feel as though Aquarius moon and Capricorn moons are the teo moons who get the bad rap of being emotionless. Regardless, no I doubt they will express their emotions (but again look at the whole chart, Moon in the 1st will make them more emotionally expressive) but does that matter? Its not that they dont feel it's just that they dont know how, or dont want to express them. Emotional expression does not equal the amount of feelings one feels. Take the time to get them to open up to you. Everyone complaining about how Caps dont express emotions but have you ever actually tried to enter their forest of mystery? Capricorn especially Cap moons will definitely not be showy with emotions like a Water moon.

As an Aquarius moon growing up I was always seen as unemotional. Because I was embarrassed or shy of showing my emotions. Or I didnt trust people. I didn't want to be vulnerable. When it comes to excitement, inside I could be so happy and excited and truly grateful, but I didnt express it. It doesnt help that people constantly tell you that you lack emotions because you don't express them. As if they could know how you feel. That's awful thinking.

Yes typically Capricorns rationalize and are cutthroat buisness types. But you cant look at the sign alone to determine whether they lack care and understanding. Because they can have their moon in a Water house, or sign. They may have Moon conjunct Neptune or Jupiter. They may have a lot of harmonous aspects to Neptune. Aspects to Pluto will give intense emotions.

Not showing emotions can make you look unapproachable, robotlike, people might even associate

many negative traits with that, such as ruthlessness, coldness, arrogance etc. I think that is why so many

People constantly flame caps for that behavior.

I feel you though, I have similar fears, thats why I put on an icy exterior.
