So I met this cap guy on tinder. He messaged me a lot and eventually gave me his number after initially asking me to let him know when he could take me to a movie and I told him I'd let him know when I was free and we started texting. Hed text me back within minutes of my replies even if it took me hours to respond. This continued for a couple weeks and then he asked me again if he could take me on a date an I said yes. He wanted me to go to the bar with him that night but it was already 11pm and I'm a student and I had a lecture at 8am. I explained this to him and told him maybe next weekend! He said okay and our messaging continued for a couple days but then suddenly he just stopped replying. I don't understand why because everything was going good. I wasn't being too eager or aloof either. I wondered is it because my last response was just "yeah☺️" and he saw no reason to respond or if he just lost interest? It's been almost 4 days no response. So I guess my question is is this a normal Capricorn thing or should I just forget about him?

What brought you to that conclusion?

asked you two times to meet, double no

Even though I told him we could the following weekend? I wasn't disinterested in meeting him just bad timing. The first time he asked I didn't know him well enough to meet. Even though we met online I like to talk to someone for a bit so I feel comfortable meeting them. And then the next time, he asked me at 11pm that's too late and too short of notice and I had class?

I had written him off and was doing my own thing and he just popped back up into my life today. Why?

I'm on tinder. I always ask what they are looking for before I give out my number. I don't want to waste my time if we are not both looking for the same thing.

Do you tell them what your looking for, or make allusions to it before they've answered for themselves?

Yes. I'm usually pretty direct and honest. 1. I don't want to waste my time on someone who only wants a hookup. 2. I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea.

Dating sites are no longer places to meet long term relationships. Most people are there for booty calls . You might have dodged a bullet. Forget him and move on to the next, don't wait on him.

Yeah I let him answer first. He said he wasn't looking for a hookup but that he was looking to meet someone to hangout with, see if we click, and see where things go. Which I said was the same thing I was looking for. (whenever I go into things with expectations I get let down) He never made references to anything sexual while we were texting either. He would just ask me about myself and told me about himself.

Don't do that if you want the truth. Be ambiguous about your end game.

A player will say he's looking for the exact same things you are so he has the chance to get close.

and if he's saying no, tell him you know what' is doing and you are actually really sorry

Are Capricorn men that sensitive? I have to apologize for being busy? Even though I made the effort to reschedule?
