I once dated a guy who had a crucifix on his wall, and he would take it down when we were going to have sex, this "relationship" actually lasted one and a half months, I even met his family and I was like "no way"! Actually, here's how it kind of went down: He said... "I'd tell you to lay down next to me, but then I'll want to kiss you, and then I'll want to have sex with you..." And what did I do? Plopped down and laid next to him... then a few minutes later, leaned over and tried to kiss him! haha-- He pulled back and resisted, so I flopped back onto the bed with a discouraged sigh, and then he's immediately up and leaning over me going in for the kiss. Well I'm sorry I'm scaring u! LOL...what I mean by just having sex is that I do go over there, spend some time w/him, watching tv, etc., sometimes we go out. That's very rare. I don't know how u think I'm being strong, but I don't think I am. I mean, it takes me everything I have to do this. I just want us to have a normal relationship, and sadly I don't know that it will ever come to that.

Yes cap men love being in control. I like not being in control, especially when it comes to sex. He always takes control in that, which I love. Plus I never know when he's actually wanting to have sex. Which, him being a man, I would think he'd want to all the time. Sex is so good w/him that I want to have it all the time. He told me at one time that he thinks I want to have sex as much as he does or even more than he does. I just had to laugh, and say, well u shouldn't be so d@mn good then! What an ego boost that was for him.

Oh I ran into ex-cap's friend at my local bar last Saturday night - I don't really discuss personal stuff with him though, he just asked me how I was feeling, and I said "excellent" - although I was feeling "just OK".

There maybe some hope to replace ex-cappy. Last weekend I went to greatboyfriends.com and wrote to all the guys I thought were an 8 and above. There was this super hot guy, I was like "wow", I was feeling silly that afternoon - and I had to write to like 40 guys - (now that's A for effort to replace ex-cappy) so I had to keep things short and sweet. I thought this guy was the hottest of all of them, I wrote him a pick-up line along those lines. Yesterday he wrote me back a naughtier pick up line and now I am nervous! What am I going to write back? and now my face and ears are very hot (I don't know if I can call it blushing because am too dark to turn red). We'll see how it goes - his friend who recommended him said he likes career driven women - that's so not me and I think that comes across in my profile where I say I work for a small company because I like things very easy and it's OK for "him" to take on all the challenges. We'll see. I am excited though - and he's taller than ex-cappy!

I just checked out that 'greatboyfriends' site! Pretty cool, except for my state- Indiana- it hasn't seem to have caught on yet. There's not many offerings. I like how they have the ratings sections for looks, etc.! Did you have to pay/subscribe to email them? I saw the registration form, page 1, but just don't have the energy tonight nor did I see more than 1 or 2 I was taken with.

I'm sure people are "recommending" themselves on there, and creating a fake profile for the friend/ ex, etc., don't you think?

oh and the recommenders write the profiles - not the guys themselves so I don't automatically exclude myself if the recommender says the guy likes a different type - usually the exes type if it's an ex, I say hi and if they like me, hey - hence I wrote to 40 guys in case some of the recommenders were actually right. Most guys I know often "think" they have a type, but the type changes to whatever hot chick just walked in the room.

I have a short attention span hence the successive posts. I don't bother with the ones who don't have photos. And Indiana is not backwards, it's probably easier to meet people in real life there otherwise it would have caught on more. In NYC 50% of people are single and it's not easy to make friends - or friends that last, I know I've gone out to bars alone and that a lot of other women do, but something horrible happened to a woman last week and it's kinda made me chicken to be out alone or I'd have gone out and looked for someone to flirt with.
