Common relationship problems experienced by Caps?

Common Relationship Challenges for Capricorns

Capricorns often face issues like emotional distance, control tendencies, or high expectations. Understanding these patterns can help improve communication and intimacy in relationships. Recognizing areas for growth allows Caps to build stronger, more balanced partnerships by addressing underlying concerns and showing vulnerability.

My Cap wants to know how he can be a better partner.

1. What are some common complaints about Caps in relationships?

2. In hindsight, what might you have done differently or better in past relationships?

aren't you the one that should know what you need that he might not be fulfilling or am I getting this all wrong ? I mean if things are good, tell him - he wants to know if there is anything more he can give you that he isn't already giving you ...

Foreveloveme said it!

I always wonder how much my cap likes me because he doesn't share his feelings with words! He's always busy! No clue if we're official. We are monogamous even though we haven't even had sex yet. He moves soooooo slow!

But he's a really sweet guy! I still adore him ๐Ÿ™‚

You best be behaving as if you both are official ๐Ÿ˜‰ if ya know what I mean.

Ok in your opinion where do you see problems in your relationship?

To answer your questions anyway

1. Common complaints

-he/she is too busy & we hardly see each

-don't express feelings enough

-don't know if we're official

-don't know if they're truly interested

*Based on what I see on the Cap board

2. Nothing because I'm as close to perfection as you're gonna get ๐Ÿ˜„ lol

Okay honestly, set more boundaries, took less crap.

Caps typically give everything they have & put their all into relationships & making them work

Thanks Foreverloveme!

For us, I supposed the first 2 you listed:

- works too much so we only see each other on weekends.

- doesn't express feelings or concern enough

I'm having a talk with him today so want to be able to give him some concrete things he can do.

We're having a talk later today as I told him he wasn't giving me what I needed last week.

He wants to work at it so here we are. I want to be able to give him realistic and practical ways he can do things differently.

I'll say it out straight - I went through hell with my wife before we got married, she's a Cap sun, Aqua moon and Sag Venus. My main issue with her was her roving eye. I'm a Pisces sun, Scorpio moon and Taurus venus, and I was having none of that. So I gave her an ultimatum the one day saying that it's either me or that, and she seemed to have chosen me. There are other things which irritate me about her, although I won't get into detail about that. But, all in all, I love her, and she loves me, and that's all that really matters at the end of the day.
Tell us the juicy details

My grandmother, cousins (male and female respectively) and a guy I knew when i was younger.

Of course, their natal placements are not synonymous.

If I could sum up their personality in one assessment in the realms of love, it's this:

Caps

They're very disciplined and reserved on the surface, but there is a lot going on underneath. You're not unfolding any layers to their personality, it's just cracking one hard shell to get to the core of their hearts. Their wisdom comes through experience, and somehow most of them matured a lot faster than their counterparts. It comes across as cold, but it's actually a protective nature, burdened by the weight of taking care of their close family members. So the relationship is treated in the same manner during the initial stages of courtship. It's more about 'action' and 'doing' rather than 'expressing' and 'feeling.' It's not intentional, the territory is just unfamiliar.

If your Cap is still enclosed, perhaps you're not observing enough, or you're not that comfortable in your OWN skin. I notice every Cap I have encountered have lowered their defenses when they are laughing hysterically, and you're actually having a good time being in their presence. They respond well to good hospitality and people who are seeking their advice. They give great advice by the way. They also take pride in their accomplishments, appearance and ambitions. They do appreciate the recognition. Not in the stereotypical 'arrogant' way Caps are known for, but in a candid, genuine type of way...RESPECT.

Example: I respect your views on family, and I think you're very ambitious and kind, it's quite admirable vs Look at your fly clothes, cars, oh my gosh, you look so good. The first half would bring out the best in Cappy, the latter will bring out the worst.

For the women I have encountered, A man who is going to lead in the relationship without suppressing her own ambition, a silent partner, a gentleman, but someone to open her heart to many emotional possibilities.

For the men, a woman who exudes femininity, is headstrong, has her own ambitions and own mind, but this woman knows not to overstep her boundaries. She's subtle, unassuming, flirtatious...some maternal characteristics. If she' s funny, and great in the sack, even better!

that's so weird to hear a man say it.

it's usually the woman who is getting pissed off at the man for the ROVING eye.

your dynamic seems reversed.

edit - watch out, if she goes see Tatum Channing at the male strip tease club. lol

she has sag venus aqua mars (masculine) and he is all water and earth without any air / fire (feminine). the only saving grace would be if her jupiter is in water / earth. otherwise as a woman with all her love planets loving adventures and spontaneous, she is going to find his all water & earth energy boring, restrictive and naggy.

At home these are the following complaints by mom -

1) Works too much, overexerts him self.

2) Unresponsive when (mom is) throwing a tantrum or hurt.

3) Too dismissive and judgmental, critical

4) Too much helping nature. To the point where it feels like he's easily fooled but he's not which is weird.

5) miserly ๐Ÿ˜„ waste a single penny and ...? Restricts mom's extravagant tendencies - the have serious fights here ?

6) doesn't like to go outside. Mom approaches him "lets go out - shopping or somewhere ?", dad = ? "what do you want to buy now, you want go without a reason? / too much traffic on that road / parking is a problem". He can be a TOTAL wetblanket on her fire ๐Ÿ˜›

7) wants logic behind things.. Asks too many questions when my mom is readily jumping to do something(mom is fire dominant) - he slows her impulsive tendencies but it irritates mom who is in the heat of the moment. Dad is like cold iceberg. Mom is in raging flames.

8) wants to cook sometimes but dirties the kitchen :p

9) is forgetful - painfully forgetful regarding little things - we call him Professor ๐Ÿ˜„

Strangely enough she's quite content being at home, during the week and over the weekends. She's a real homebody. At times it's the reverse, where I find her quite boring, where I feel the need for adventure. But, we compliment each other in many ways. Could astrology be wrong?

but you're already complaining, even BEFORE you two married.

that's what me and icloud have noticed.

you have irritants about her but you make excuses for her later when we come out and say something to notice your frustrations.

you are both fixed in personal relationships.

we don't even have to SEE the personal planets, it's your complaints and frustrations.

lol

sounds like my brother in law and my sister.

except she is the breadwinner, but she can't handle money that well, so she turns it all to him.

he's not a good money maker guy, works only phone sales, but he's reliable and responsible, and good with money. it's like his DESTINY to be with a woman who makes good money and can handle the finances. It's like he is her bookkeeper.

I don't know any cappy relationships, only my mother in law but she is single, and my grandmother who is a cappy passed away. but she was very frugal.

oh and I observe too a little, so definitely NOT my type of relationship though. He goes grocery shopping and is basically the "woman" in the relationship. but that's not a bad thing ok?? because they love their dynamics.

he makes less than her of course and before he was a stay at home father. but now his income helped them go further at least to buy a home even if he only gets hourly. He is very responsible.

edit - he is raised by a Capricorn sun mother btw.

Hm...thanks for your response though (: .. I think libra-Aries is a great pairing :p
well all 12 sun signs I've seen work great. lol

but I do NOTICE that aries/libra is always in the chart even if it's not in the sun.

it's the opposite attracts thing going on.

Do you have any opposite with your husband??

I love opposite pairing! ๐Ÿ™‚ ..although I dont understand how Libra and Aries are opposite or similar.. :p

i'm just having brunch right now, lol so .... let's see, yes, leo/aqua is there with me and my husband.

I hope you too find a good opposite for you, RumiL, someone with libra in their planets, you can help eachother.

I know you want to find a good man who is good with computers.
Ahh nice.

Hahah, these days it's rather rare to find one that is not good with computers...exceptions being you n me :p

Hopefully! (:

Ok in your opinion where do you see problems in your relationship?

To answer your questions anyway

1. Common complaints

-he/she is too busy & we hardly see each

-don't express feelings enough

-don't know if we're official

-don't know if they're truly interested

*Based on what I see on the Cap board

2. Nothing because I'm as close to perfection as you're gonna get ๐Ÿ˜„ lol

Okay honestly, set more boundaries, took less crap.

Caps typically give everything they have & put their all into relationships & making them work

Yes, yes and yes

For me and Caps I dated, we tend to shun away and be in our own "shells" when we get stressed up. I would love for myself to change and trust my partner enough to share the good and bad. Not to burden him but let him "cheer me on", provide support in that way....

Why do you think this is so hard? Mine started opening up in that way then took a serious step back.

But, all in all, I love her, and she loves me, and that's all that really matters at the end of the day.

that's great - I love it - people who work together stay together ... it truly is all about understanding, compromising, communicating, working on things, wanting to make it work, doing the work, understanding that people are unique and not all things can change and accepting them for the way they are, and then the profits - oh the profits ...
