Looking for: Dating advice on timing...

I'm unsure on how soon should interest in sexual relations should be asserted, the time range being from the first conversation to anywhere after. Honestly, I was under the impression that women getting to know me = them becoming increasingly attracted to me. Though I'm informed that it has the opposite effect, that supposedly women in general are only interested in getting know a man who wants them (and they know this).

I recall the study that withing 5 seconds a woman knows if she wants to be sexual with a guy or not. While normally I eye-roll at junk science, I'd like to hear if this has any basis in reality.

Finally, while I can be forward, to the point I have to keep myself aware of how strong I'm coming off, is their any tasteful way of direct with your sexual interest without sounding like I'm from a crappy porno?

It also depends on woman. For me, surely it must be physical attraction first, but if you cant speak and get into intellectuall conversation with me you can have looks of johnny depp or whoever is hot in the moment..you will be a no no. for me. what arouses me is intellectual conversation, chemistry, sharing ideas, ambitions, goals.... maybe becouse of my gemini moon and aqua venus.. I dunno.. So there is really nothing you can do if you are not on the same intellectual page with me. Im sure other girls can give you a very different kind of perspective..but thats just being me.

What I read is women decide on the first date IF she wants to see the man again or not. Whereas men decide if the woman has long term potential or not-- within the first few minutes of the first date!!

Sad part is, a woman may think a particular date went amazingly great but the guy may think it was meh!

Maybe all these perfumes with pheromones are changing the game!

hmmmm, I can sort of vouch for pretty close to that - but the thing is, that is only on the physical plane - if you get to know someone and the rest of it catches up and affirms, then it's game on ...

For me if I am laughing a lot with you and we can talk about anything under the sun and there are pauses of me staring at you it means I really want it and I am waiting for you to figure it out lol. I will also be extremely close to you. A lot of times I want to reach out and touch someone but I am too afraid of being rejected or making myself obvious but I feel obvious with it when I am thinking about it but then again i feel like everyone is always reading my mind so I am always embarrassed lol .

I can also look at somebody though, and not really be that bothered by them physically, but after talking to them for a while I can then become attracted to them.

yes, I was thinking the same - it can work both ways for me - I think we are naturally an animal species and that first a female is attracted to a large healthy male who smells good (the chemical part) - but then also he should be intelligent and a good hunter and provider and all those things lol - now I'm horney lololol - I'm sick!
