Are those the right words for what they do/how they Are?

Self serving, I can see.. back stabbing and manipulative however, I'm having trouble picturing.

Not to someone we care about. Unless we’re damaged. Damaged people are no good in general. Regardless of sign, it’s a mixed bag.

The only reason a Cap would be like that if it's a turnabout situation. Caps don't play games but they're surprisingly good at them. You don't want to arouse competitive instincts for a taste of your own medicine. It looks like Cap ruthlessness sometimes when it's just the other person not recognizing their own selfishness and lack of accountability reflected back on them when patience has finally worn thin.
