We're only boring to people we don't want to interact with. Personally, I find people that are unlearned or aren't very progressive in their lives boring.

TV, dinner, drink...table in the bedroom so he wouldn’t go far when he is drunk enough to go to bed.

@Nightcap- Ummmm if he's only boring to people he doesn't want to interact with then why is he at my place being boring? He cud have just stayed home

Maybe he isn't comfortable with you enough. We need to feel a bit comfortable around the person before we can open fully. Not saying we aren't boring but we can make you laugh like you haven't laughed your whole life lol.
