Posted by wagtailThat's a really cute outfit... but is your interviewer a man or woman?
I think it's a cute outfit 😎
Is it corporate or sales? Depends on the position, the skirt is a tad short in my opinion...
Generally knee length or just above knee is ideal but I don't really have any expertise lol
The shoes are awesome tho

Posted by wagtailBasically sales. The skirt is what worries me too.

Posted by TheLibraMudraPosted by SilvuhYou look really good in that outfit. Super cute but a bit short. Perhaps black stockings and black heels? Have those?
I had a phone interview earlier this afternoon and they set me up to come in tomorrow morning but it's 1am and I'm realizing I don't really have anything to wear? ?
Is this ok?![]()

Posted by Pisces1803A man. I didn't think about the relevancy in that, but I'm all for an added anxiety right now, is this worse off? lolPosted by wagtailThat's a really cute outfit... but is your interviewer a man or woman?

Posted by tizianiI once didn't get hired because I was wearing a long skirt with pleats on the front and a belt around the waist. The interviewer all but told me he thought I was too prissy for the food service job I was applying for. Dress code is extremely tricky, and dare I say, much more so for women. ?Posted by SilvuhIt's much better from what I hear. Senior women supervisors apparently get competitive out of nowhere and offer you unsolicited advice on dress sense. Then tell you, you don't have the job.Posted by Pisces1803A man. Posted by Scenici was wondering why no one even mentioned the buttons. It was the 1st thing i noticed. sorry OP 😢
I would personally wear an undershirt or a camisole or something. The shirt is a little low and your buttons seem to not be laying flat. As for the skirt, a little short, but maybe something you can wear after first impressions are all done and over with.
I wish I were a dude so that dressing up would be easier and the lines less blurry. : /

as a large chested woman it's something i deal with with button downs. a trick i learned, saftey pin on the inside but only through the lower layer so you can't see the metal and usually will pull the panels together and flat.
You need to pick a different top or layer like Scenic suggested to ease the strain on them. Skirt seems fine but might be a tad short for a professional office, maybe after you get hired and find out dress code.

Posted by SilvuhWhat about a standard black dress and add pops of color with accessories? Simple sometimes can be more of a statement. It's classic and gives good impressions.Posted by justagirlDon't be sorry I need y'all all my friends are asleep right now haha.Posted by Scenici was wondering why no one even mentioned the buttons. Posted by LillyPetalOh wow. Yeah we're critiqued. Im also usually the youngest employed in these positions. Hard to find a balance between dressing my age and not looking too... flashy? If that makes sense.Posted by tizianiI once didn't get hired because I was wearing a long skirt with pleats on the front and a belt around the waist. Posted by Pisces1803It actually was a longer cardigan, but I tucked it in because it clashed with the flare of the skirt. And don't worry you guys are great! Although I am a lil worried about losing a button now ?
Have you got a longer Cardi?
I don't think you look frumpy at all. Don't let us make you more anxious.. You're looking good .

Posted by wagtailTHANKS GUYS!! —?
Most importantly GOOD LUCK 🙂
Keep us posted!

Posted by Pisces1803Haha if the shoe fits then rock it but a phone interview and if theres no camera or skype but or in person interview nah homie there's specific interview clothes for each occasion and type of job. Haha.
FirstDecanTaurianWomen0428 was referring to my pant pic with the sparkly studded heels 😄

Posted by SilvuhCongratulations.
Shit sorry guys! Thanks for y'all's added input haha
It went really good!!
One receptionist who was already there was wearing boat shoes....grrr
It was like 11am so maybe she already had on her tired shoes lol
Anyway I got set up for a second interview, I'll be prepared LOL
And my interviewer was nice, I made him smile a lot and got "one of the best" typing averages so o don't think he cared about the buttons hahaha
God I fcking hate interviews, but this one was a little fun
And @TheLibraMudra, I ditched the sweater lol
