What To Make On First Date?

That special someone is coming over for your first hot date. You want to impress them BUT, you only have an hour. Luckily you have all of your ingredients at your disposal. What would you make?

I'm still thinking about it actually, was throwing around a few different ideas.

I'm thinking steak and salmon teppanyaki with broccoli and fired rice would be easy to make in the time frame. I'd have the chopsticks to add a final touch.

on one of our first dates he made me amazing chicken quesadilla with a chile-lime chicken fajitas I had made, they were amazing! Better than the restaurant.

& He knows I can cook too. the chicken was ?

Kinda depends on the season for me. In the warmer months I like grilling so maybe some chicken sandwiches, or brats. In the colder months something like chicken and dumplings stew. I don't like fussing around - I don't cook to impress, I have other things to worry about on a first date 😄

I'd turn on the hot chocolate fountain meanwhile I get the other food ready.

Sure, it'll cost about around $ 55 but it's very useful once you get it; and memorable to guests aesthetics-wise.

Then, we get delicious food out of every tier.

I'm talking fruit (to dip in the chocolate), steak, pasta, etc.

I have sweet tea ready.

And....personally, I really love pure carrot juice. My companion doesn't have to drink it but he can try it if he wants.

As each food is being finished, it'll be placed on different large plates on the table.

Then, I'd throw board games, and video games on another table.

The big screen TV can be in front of both the food and game tables. (BECAUSE WE FEAST TONIGHT)

BUT...if I am not finished with the food,

Me and my bae could have fun finishing it while I feed him.♥

But um....if it's just a cute date then something simple like pasta..

But if it's a sexy one as well,

then I'll get the whip cream. x

So BASICALLY,

Me BEFORE the date:

Me DURING the date:

I'd be the one giving kissus.

Grilled New York Dry-Aged Choice Steak

and Steamed or Grilled Lobster with herb butter.

I would make my bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapeños. I’m not a big cook so it’s one of the only dishes that impress but is easy af to make.

Gem makes a killer fettuccine alfredo.

He makes it from scratch. So much heavy cream, butter, and cheese. Crazy fattening, crazy good 😭😭🤤
