I think we won this challenge.
I feel good about working with starwars. I think she does better with me as PM..it suits her style more than being assertive/dominant but it's good teamwork nevertheless.
Only thing I can think could have been done better is the timing of the topic. I told Nights last night that on tasks that deal with votes/likes..if they start in the evening EST time that's past midnight for me. These are tasks where both teammates should be on for. So one thing that would have been done better was for us to post the topic at 8am this morning instead of noon or whatever it turned up to be. I can't think of anything else we could have done better. But we are on different time zones so that was that.
As for why I should stay, there's no reason I should go. I took the criticism on board from the last task where we were vague and maybe too broad with the theme and went like a shark for blood in sales. This was a sales task after all and I really think I excelled at it. Zero modesty.
Ok, but a sales task isn't just selling. It's about building a brand, a client base, and shelling the experience more than the product do you feel you did that?
Yes, I do.
It was classier, had a story behind it and it was part of a line already launched. That establishes a brand.
As for client base, you know you are successful when you attract new customers. Regulars on dxp is old news. This is really new unsung heroes right here. After all the site stays afloat because of the new input from people and not the same old, same old. It's actually a rebrandishing of what a first tier should be.
Attracting a new base is not hard here where newbies want to be accepted. The ones who are tougher are the ones who are already "established" so this spin isn't a wise one. And How was it classier? Your design and card feel in general for me wasn't. What was classy for you? Tier 1 was a topic. Never a brand. Never released before. Never branded in a campaign. So no, this wasn't an established brand, just an idea that was used by Ands and those who joke with him. It's a running DXP joke if anything. Not a brand.
With all due respect, only you newbies actually buy the "it was a joke" line of thinking. It wasn't and I know because I was there. It went on in chat for months.
I don't see newbies who want to be accepted here half as much as veterans complaining and whining over popularity points (me included). You're arguing that selling a mobile phone for the first time is more effective being sold to people who know about mobile phones. Had industry followed this line of thinking, that is the point to produce to a wider market? Industries would start and die by themselves with no one buying because..what's the point of marketing then? As for classier, since you asked...the recycled teena and ands jokes and pictures is as simple as Morocco was. To not make note of including me in those perks when I am from a different team entirely.
When I said released brand I meant the storyline behind silver/gold/platinum.
We'll agree to disagree on how much the tier 1 thing is a joke. Even if you run with it as a joke, Ands made it clear in their topic it was his concept so at this point it's a brand. When you go out to sell you're going to sell to a market base that has no knowledge/low knowledge of your product. You have to target a market that has familiarity with your product. You're trying to sell foreman grills to a group that has no knowledge or understanding of the product? Yes lets go to apple. They targeted a market which was influx with the smallest phone phenomena dying. Introduced touch screen. They targeted techies first and then the general population, and then added in tweaks that made it easier for the every day person to use a phone like that. The fact that you and your teammate are throwing shots and shade for me not agreeing with you is anything but professional. But you know what if your inflated egos think you did well who am i to come in between them and delusions of grandeur.

Because I didn't use PM's for selling purposes. too busy making cards and then I work Saturdays so I needed my sleep etc.
